I was thankful to give SheilaWalsh on TBN a quick update of how Samaritan's Purse is continuing to serve communities along the Guadalupe River in Texas. The destruction in the hill country of Texas is horrific, but Samaritan's Purse is here to love our neighbor and most importantly remind these families that God loves them so much that he sent his one and only son Jesus Christ to die for them, He has not forsaken them. Pray for Texas as they heal. We aren’t going anywhere until the work is done.

Department of Housing Secretary Scott Turner says American needs to get back to our founding principles “To pray together, to pray for each other, and to pray for our nation — This nation was founded on Judeo-Christian principles. And we have a president now that understands not only the power of prayer, but the importance of people in America praying and giving back to our foundation. And so I'm honored to just be a part of it, that every single week that you can get together with 10 people, and pray together. Think about it. We have a million people a week praying for our country. Mountains move when the people of God pray. You know, there's a scripture in the Bible and it says, God can bring the high places low and make the rough places smooth and that he delights in the prayer of his people. And so I believe that as Americans under President Trump's leadership, that as we pray together, that we'll see families come back together. We'll see people that are hurting and lost to come to a true knowledge of Jesus Christ. We'll see sons return to their fathers, daughters return to their mothers. We'll see people who have been fighting and combating in chaos come back together in like-mindedness. Pray for our leaders making big decisions and for all my brothers and sisters who wear the uniform that God will give us the courage and faith to serve as we are called upon.
