Interesting exchange in the house between Blanchet and Carney. Blanchet doesn't like the accounting on the "tax credits" for clean energy Carney finishes with "The truth is that right now Quebec is using 350,000 barrels of oil a day, so carbon has to be captured for the production and transport of those barrels." Those are imported barrels of oil, mostly from the US, but it begs the question: does Carney expect Canadians to pay for the decarbonization of oil being imported from other countries now? Bloc Quebecois Leader Yves-François Blanchet is very concerned about a pipeline from Alberta to British Columbia. Last I checked, the Bloc doesn't run candidates in either of those provinces and doesn't care about them. But listen to Carney's answers on the pipeline in French.

For a Federally funded party that wants Quebec to leave Canada, they sure seem to love leeching money away from Western Provinces. But we are told Alberta separatists are the villains in Canada.
