A family has abandoned their almost seven-year-old child at Sachkhand Sri Darbar Sahib(Golden Temple) Amritsar. CCTV of the incident surfaced where the family is seen with their child & leaving the temple without going into the Parikrama. The administration of Sachkhand Sri Harmandir Sahib Ji Darbar Sahib has sent the child to Pingalwara Amritsar with the help of the corridor checkpoint.

Amid resounding chants of “Bole So Nihal… Sat Sri Akal!”, Jathedar Giani Kuldip Singh Gargajj received a rousing welcome from the Sikh sangat upon his arrival in London. The Officiating Jathedar of Sri Akal Takht Sahib and Jathedar of Takht Sri Kesgarh Sahib is on a three-day UK visit at the invitation of Nehkaamee Sewa Trust UK. At the airport, Sikh community members and youth honoured him with a siropa and flower bouquets. During his visit, Jathedar Gargajj will participate in a Gurmat Samagam at Gurdwara Guru Garib Niwaz, Hayes, London, marking the Parkash Gurpurab of Sri Guru Har Krishan Sahib Ji. He will also address the congregation on Sikh philosophy and Panthic affairs.
