I get the strict definition. I was maybe being a little hyperbolic with “basically blackmail”, but what I was trying to get across is that Farage framed Musk’s offer as a “do this or else” pressure tactic, which he presented as standing up to bullying. That’s why I used the phrase. I obviously understand it’s not literal blackmail.
