I don't know what's more disgusting -- that Chris Minns literally seems PROUD of the fact we don't have proper free speech protections in Australia, or the fact he's now trying to ban free speech for Australians rather than deport the foreigners who want to destroy us. Free speech and democracy are one and the same -- throughout history there has never once been a democratic country without it. Yesterday in the Senate, we saw something extraordinary - and disturbing. First they blocked a burka ban, then they enforced one. This contradiction highlights that rules here don’t seem to apply to the people who make them. The Albanese Labor Government has failed Australia. The Prime Minister has turned a blind eye to extremism and refused to stand up for Australian values and you are paying the price. I am appalled by Fatima Payman, who tried to downplay the severity of the vile comments made by these nurses, calling it a “double standard” and suggesting they were being treated unfairly. These nurses openly stated they would kill Jewish patients, this is not just a “terrible comment,” it is outright hatred, extremism, and anti-Australian. Instead of offering a strong, clear condemnation, Payman has questioned why they were facing such serious consequences and then attacked Australians who are rightfully outraged. This is disgraceful. Remember, it was the Albanese Labor Government that protected Payman when I tried to have issues surrounding her eligibility for parliament referred to the High Court. The Albanese Labor Government has failed Australia. The Prime Minister has turned a blind eye to extremism and refused to stand up for Australian values and you are paying the price. I am appalled by Fatima Payman, who tried to downplay the severity of the vile comments made by these nurses, calling it a “double standard” and suggesting they were being treated unfairly. These nurses openly stated they would kill Jewish patients, this is not just a “terrible comment,” it is outright hatred, extremism, and anti-Australian. Instead of offering a strong, clear condemnation, Payman has questioned why they were facing such serious consequences and then attacked Australians who are rightfully outraged. This is disgraceful. Remember, it was the Albanese Labor Government that protected Payman when I tried to have issues surrounding her eligibility for parliament referred to the High Court.
