Free speech is a core value of our civilization. We need to stop Bill C-9. This bill is designed to limit your speech by labeling you as an Islamophobe or racist without any specific definition. We don’t lack laws in Canada. If the authorities do not enforce the existing laws against jihadists, and if the RCMP and CSIS receive advice from Muslim Brotherhood-linked groups, it does not mean that a new law will stop the hate rallies and the glorification of terrorism in our streets. If Bill C-9 passes, I can say: welcome to the Islamic Republic of Canada.

💥Bill Maher SCHOOLS Canadian Comedian Tom Green on why Canada *DOESN'T* have free speech like America🇺🇸 GREEN: "We have freedom of speech … There are hate speech laws in Canada — so there are things you can't say ... Who would want to say that sh*t anyways?" MAHER: "That's not what free speech means … You don’t know what free speech is." "The Supreme Court ruled in our country that the Nazis could march in Skokie, Illinois — which they were marching in because it is a community of a lot of Holocaust survivors ... That is what free speech is about."

Canada liberal government has 3 bills that when passed will be their most destructive bills ever put into law Free speech will be ended, Canadians will be thrown in prison for social media posts, warrantless searches of phones, pre-crime punishments and even open your mail Bill C-2 - empowers government employees, not police, to open your mail, search your phone or computer — all without a warrant. Bill C-8 - gives cabinet ministers the power to kick Canadians off the internet, impose fines, and demand data — no judge, no police review. Bill C-9 - removes legal safeguards around free speech. Justice Centre expands “hate” prosecutions. Online Harms Act - brings pre-crime punishment: house arrest, ankle bracelets, curfews for people who haven’t committed a crime. Because they might. “If the Online Harms Act is brought back and passed into law, you're gonna see the Canadian Human Rights Commission with massive new powers to prosecute Canadians over offensive non-criminal speech with penalties up to $50,000” (This is a bill that insiders say is about to be revived and passed with the 3 above) “Canada will be a police state by Christmas if Parliament passes bills C2, C8, and C9 in their current form. C2 is the Strong Borders Act. It should be called the Strong Surveillance Act. It empowers Canada Post to open letter mail without a warrant. It criminalizes the use of cash in amounts greater than $10,000. And it empowers a vast army of government officials, not just police, to conduct warrantless searches of the computers and cell phones of Canadians. It is a massive invasion of privacy. It's extremely dangerous.” “You're gonna see a Digital Safety Commission with a vast army of bureaucrats to enforce federal regulations that are passed in respective of the internet and internet contents. And you're gonna see Canadians punished preemptively because their neighbor fears that they might commit a hate speech crime in future, the Online Harms Act would authorize judges to place Canadians under house arrest, wearing an ankle bracelet and respect a curfew, et cetera. Giving the federal government, giving federal cabinet ministers power to kick Canadians off the internet is not necessary for protecting public safety or defending our national security.”

Karnatka's Hate Speech Bill: Congress government in Karnataka has tabled a bill that claims to curb hate speech, but it attempts to risk free speech! The wording of the bill is vague and open to interpretation, which means even ordinary statements could be judged as ill will and lead to serious criminal action. India already has laws to deal with hate speech, and even the Supreme Court has said that the real problem is weak enforcement, not the absence of law. When the line between free speech and crime becomes unclear, people begin to self censor out of fear rather than responsibility!

Our nation faces a turning point in history with the Misinformation & Disinformation Bill Will the lights of freedom be extinguished and our future is that of totalitarian nation where what you say will censored if it doesn‘t confirm the government’s narrative ? If the Misinformation & Disinformation Bill passes the Senate - freedom of speech dies in Australia And look at contrast between ourselves and the USA PRESIDENT TRUMP : "The fight for Free Speech is a matter of victory or death for America and for the survival of Western Civilization itself. When I am President, this whole rotten system of censorship and information control will be ripped out of the system at large. There won’t be anything left. By restoring free speech, we will begin to reclaim our democracy, and save our nation" ALBANESE : We will establish a new Canberra based bureaucracy to monitor what you say, and if we deem it "misinformation" it will be censored. The right to free speech is over.

.Joe Rogan: "Liberals and progressives want the War in Ukraine to be funded. They want to censor speech online. They want to give the World Health Organization, which is deeply influenced by Big Pharma, control over what we take and don't take. That's crazy! That's not what the liberals were when I was a kid. My parents were hippies. We lived in San Francisco during the Vietnam War. The liberals always wanted education and open-mindedness. The liberals at the ACLU let the Nazis talk and have a rally. They said you can't infringe on people's free speech because if you infringe on the free speech of people you disagree with, you're being a hypocrite. The only solution to bad speech is better speech. We've always known that. Everyone has to be able to talk, and we have to figure out who is right because you might be wrong, and you might be clinging to this idea that you are right, and you're going to do the whole thing a terrible disservice. When you have people who are supposedly progressive and liberal, and they are opposed to the idea that free speech is an absolute right as an American citizen. It's very, very important because too many people can decide what you can and can't say. Like when Tim Walz was saying, 'Free speech doesn't apply to hate speech and misinformation.' Of course, it does. But first of all, you said misinformation. If that is the case, where is all the punishment for people who spread misinformation during COVID? Where's the call for accountability? It doesn't exist. It's not real because they don't really care about misinformation. They care about controlling information."

Now the media is pushing the narrative that the Alberta referendum is responsible for a rise in hate. They keep putting out these stories because it gets buried into the psyche of Canadians. If you want to separate, your a racist, if you don’t want to take the injection, your a racist, rinse and repeat. We live in a mind controlled environment in Canada. Don’t think for yourself, let the media & politicians do it for you.

I recently asked Minister Wong to explain why the Government attempted to censor the social media posts of democratically elected members of Parliament, specifically Craig Kelly and George Christensen. The Ministers response was both unsatisfactory and predictable. To make matters worse the Government has also recently announced that it will attempt to expand upon the censorship of all Australians. They have released the draft of a proposed bill aimed at combatting 'disinformation and misinformation'. This bill is a fatal blow for free speech and will impose MASSIVE fines for social media companies who allow content on their platforms that is deemed to be dis/mis information. Who decides what is dis/mis information? The Government and the people who control what they do and say behind the curtain do. The same types of people who told you that Covid-19 mRNA vaccines were safe and effective and that Covid was deadly when it was in fact mild for almost 100 percent of healthy people. This bill is dangerous. Free political speech is the bedrock of our society and I will fight to preserve this right. The Government should not be controlling speech. If we as a society are worried about dis/mis information then the best disinfectant is freedom of speech not more Government censorship.

Tucker UNLEASHES on AG Pam Bondi with a blistering 3-minute rebuttal to her remarks on “hate speech.” The monologue version of Tucker is back. This is EXACTLY what we need from him right now. “There’s free speech and then there’s hate speech. This is the Attorney General of the United States, the chief law enforcement officer of the United States, telling you that there is this other category called hate speech. And of course, the implication is that’s a crime. There’s almost no sentence that Charlie Kirk. “And I, I’m not running the risk of appropriating his memory for my own ends by saying this. It’s provable. There’s no sentence that Charlie Kirk would have objected to more than that. And you’ve got to think the Attorney General didn’t think it through and was not attempting to desecrate the memory of the person she was purporting to celebrate that she just threw that out there, that she hadn’t thought about it. “You hope that. You hope that Charlie Kirk’s death won’t be used by a group we now call bad actors to create a society that was the opposite of the one he worked to build. You hope that. “You hope that a year from now, the turmoil we’re seeing in the aftermath of his murder won’t be leveraged to bring hate speech laws to this country. And trust me, if it is, if that does happen. There is never a more justified moment for civil disobedience than that, ever. “And there never will be. Because if they can tell you what to say, they’re telling you what to think. There is nothing they can’t do to you because they don’t consider you human. They don’t believe you have a soul. A human being with a soul. A free man has a right to say what he believes, not to hurt other people, but to express human his views. “And by the way, that thinking, and not to pile on the Attorney General, who’s a very nice person, but that thinking that she just articulated on camera there is exactly what got us to a place where some huge and horrifying percentage of young people think it’s okay to shoot people you disagree with to kill Nazis for saying things they don’t like. “Why do they believe that? How did we get here? Is it the video games? Is it the SSRIs? Yeah, probably. But what it really is is 12 and then 16 years of indoctrination in our schools at the hands of people who tell them that, who say exactly what the Attorney General just said. “Well, there’s free speech, which of course, we all acknowledge is important, so, so important. But then there’s this thing called hate speech. Hate speech, of course, is any speech that the people in power hate. But they don’t define it that way. They define it as speech that hurts people, speech that is tantamount to violence. And we punish violence, don’t we? “Of course we do. They’ve been taught that every year of their lives. And so naturally, most of them believe it. When Charlie Kirk is shot in the throat with a .36 on camera. I doubt very many young Americans want to see something like that or actually applaud the death of a man, a father, a husband. “But they’ve been told for their entire lives in schools exactly what Pam Bondi just told them. Well, there’s free speech, but then there’s also hate speech. And woe to those who engage in it because it’s a crime.”

Elon Musk: We need to restore freedom to the people of Germany! “The current government is suppressing speech very aggressively. When you suppress freedom of speech, it's very difficult, if not impossible, to have a true democracy, because freedom of speech is the foundation of democracy. People cannot be expected to vote in an informed manner if they are not able to know the truth. So this is why it is so important to have freedom of speech so people can make an informed vote and it can be a true democracy. But this is not what the current government has been doing. They have been suppressing freedom of speech and putting people in jail for even mild criticisms of politicians or social media posts. This is crazy. This is frankly, a totalitarian approach. It is not a democratic approach. We need to restore freedom to the people of Germany and have freedom of speech and have less government oppression in general.” AfD Meeting, January 30, 2025

Elon Musk: Freedom of speech is the ability to say what you want to say without being thrown in prison or killed "One of the first things the Nazis did when they came in, is to shut down all the press and any means of conveying information. If there had been social media, I think it would have been impossible to hide, if there'd been freedom of speech as well. It's worth noting that the First Amendment in the United States was freedom of speech because the people that came to the United States from other countries did not have freedom of speech. If they had said something, they could be imprisoned or killed. And that's why the first correction to the Constitution was the ability to say what you want to say and not be thrown in prison or killed."

Award-winning journalist Lara Logan delivers a powerful first-hand account of the censorship and persecution faced by truth-tellers who dare to challenge establishment narratives, underscoring the vital role of free speech in safeguarding the future of freedom itself. "For too long, we have allowed non-profit organisations to masquerade as non-partisan media watchdogs, when in fact they are little more than highly paid political propagandists and assassins, whose entire reason for being is to crush anyone who stands in their way. And along with them, the long held and cherished ideas of free speech, free thinking and free minds." "These non-profits that I'm talking about are part of a vast censorship network that includes government agencies. They use deception to mask their actions, with lofty goals like 'preventing the spread of misinformation, disinformation, hate speech'. They use phrases like 'protecting democracy'... The media is collaborating with government agencies and operatives to censor and shape the information battlefield." "We are once again watching the lights of freedom... going out here and all over the world, and it is up to us to determine if they will be lit again." Credit: Lara Logan

IF YOU WATCH ONE THING TODAY, MAKE IT THIS: Christine Van Geyn of the Canadian Constitution Foundation is testifying about free speech at the Heritage Committee. "Free debate on contentious issues can't happen if the people currently in government are allowed to outlaw opposing point of views. The right to express your words and ideas goes to the core of who we are as individuals. The government doesn't need more means. It needs to stop trying to silence speech."

The situation in Brazil is getting ugly, with X and Elon Musk fighting for the right of the people of Brazil to voice their free speech. The problem, though, is that the highest court in the land says that some of this free speech is not legal speech. Musk doesn't get enough credit for his free speech advocacy, but at the same time, he did say that X will obey the laws of the countries where people reside. So who should decide if speech is or is not in line with the laws of Brazil? Should it be Elon Musk and his lawyers or should it be the highest court in Brazil? Even if they are misinterpreting their own laws, who should decide that? What are your thoughts?
