Heyo exciting news! Just released my react-native-godot library to the world! Available on npm, just `yarn add react-native-godot` and you’re (almost) good to go :) Basically, you can embed any Godot projects on iOS (Android coming soon) into your React Native app, It supports multiple Godot views at the same time, full styling (you get flex box multiple Godot views and update their layout dynamically) Still pretty early but I think it’s already enough to hack around with it. I built a full-stack Chat App to learn React Deeper. When I started, I only know the basics in React. I was hesitant at first if I would be able to do it or not, but I started building it anyways. Through building it, I have learned: - Typescript - Tailwind - Redux - Firebase - File Structuring - Optimization - More hooks The list could go on... The point is you don't need to know it all to start building something. Fundamentals are enough, you can figure out and learn the others on the way. Started using React Native two days ago and immediately fell down a tab-bar rabbit hole. I’d seen Instagram and Revolut collapse their tab bars on scroll while keeping every icon visible. I wanted that without giving up real iOS Liquid Glass. Turns out iOS 26’s public API can’t express that state. UITabBarMinimizeBehavior is an enum of when, not what. With onScrollDown, UIKit minimizes the bar to the active tab alone. There’s no parameter controlling what survives. So most implementations rebuild the visible bar as a custom component. Some use genuine glass materials, but the real UITabBar is gone and with it, the native selection capsule: that little blob that moves like a drop of water between tabs. You can reproduce it with separate springs on the leading and trailing edges. I didn’t want a reproduction. I wanted UIKit’s. Then I remembered a Flutter app i built some months back which uses cupertino_native. Flutter runs the app while a platform-view bridge renders a real UIKit UITabBar. Finding expo-glass-tabs clarified the compact geometry I wanted. The two ideas clicked: why not bridge a real UITabBar into React Native? Here’s the trick: a standalone UITabBar has no UITabBarController managing it, so Apple’s minimization rule never applies. That means I can control its frame and items myself. Expo Router still owns navigation and screen lifecycle. React Native detects scroll direction. Swift removes and restores the real item labels, recentres the icons and animates the native bar’s size. All five icons remain visible. The result keeps Apple’s Liquid Glass, water-drop capsule, hit testing and accessibility, while adding a compact state its public API doesn’t provide. One gotcha tho: detaching the bar means reimplementing everything the controller previously gave you for free. Active-tab reselect scrolling was one example

It is experimental for now, but the possibilities for 3D interfaces and special effects are huge. Rare-event discovery for robots training is what we’ve been working on lately How would a robot react to an unusual event? What if a firefighter drone won’t be able to choke a fire (like on the video below)? Robo-doctors use cases? How to mass-produce these situations to train robots to see & react the best way? I think that open-sourced, world models like LTX can become the solution for such training process. And they might become the differentiator for the future of robotics. Of course, I’m not an expert in robotics and ML, but this topic makes me curious - and I’m curious about your thoughts

i'm too stubborn to simply give up on the concept of Benji after almost 10 years(!!) of iterating on it with different stacks... 2018: graphql backend + react SPA 2019: made a react native app for 6 months 2020: gave up on it and wrote 3 years of using other bs tools and being grumpy about them 2023: rewrote it in blitz js (JUGE mistake) 2024: iterate on react native + PWA + RN pwa wrapper 2025: time for a rewrite to Zero To Shipped ⛴️ stack (but next js sucks for this kind of app, add api, mcp, cross platform app, and many other things 2026: i want it all actions INSTANT AND FAST AF and next js is the wrong tech choice for a mostly client app, so i'm starting a rewrite with TANSTACK + Convex + Better Auth it feels so snappy 😭 btw 99% of the customers abandoned it, there are like 3 ride or die fans but i know i can turn it around!!!! let /goal cook.

I always wondered "What if I port my three.js game to Rust? Will it improve performance?" I finally ported it to both Rust Desktop and Rust WASM (that runs on the browser) Comparing the three.js version with the Rust desktop I had a clear winner: Rust desktop. But now I took the time to port it to the web using Web Assembly (WASM) And my conclusion is... A tie! Both versions averaged 42FPS (60FPS if running one at a time) So if your goal is to ship a web game, it doesn't even matter the tech you use. (Three.js is recommended because the ecossystem is huge though) As long you optmize well (Web workers, reduce triangles, draw calls, etc) you should be good to go. But in the event you want to ship a native game to publish on Steam a system language (Rust, C++, etc) will be better for you. Now I want to port the three.js game to Desktop using Electron and see the results. I'll let you know. Btw, I'm open to new freelance projects. If you have anything for me, my DMs are open!

Got rejected by Apple on the first review. I fixed everything, resubmitted, and used the time to polish the product instead of waiting. Added smooth animations, improved water logging. Meanwhile, I spun up an AI influencer farm for TikTok, first warmed-up post hit 50K views. Rejection = free time to build distribution. Keep going 💪 Tech Stack: – No code mobile app builder: Rork AI – Mobile: React Native (Expo) – IDE: Cursor – Frontend: Next.js – Payment: RevenueCat – Backend: HonoJS (for my next app, I’ll go back to NestJS) – Database: Supabase – Infrastructure: Railway – AI API: OpenAI (dropping the tech stack here because someone always asks 😂)

Dear X Design Who thought replacing the native Android gallery with the Google Photos media picker was a good idea? 🤦‍♂️ On Galaxy phones, I expect the app to open Samsung Gallery, not Google Photos. Now I have to: ❌ Dig through folders every time ❌ Re-select the same folder for every new attachment ❌ Spend more time finding photos than actually posting This is a massive UX downgrade. Android isn't one-size-fits-all. Respect OEM gallery apps and use the native media picker instead. Samsung Members gets this right. I've attached a video showing the difference. Agree? Repost so the X team sees this. 👇🏻

Replit, Vercel, and OpenAI have built very cool agent-native applications, but nobody else has passed the demo stage. Building agents that work is complex. Teams aren't shipping agents because we don't have good tooling yet (and most of us don't know how to do this well.) A couple of days ago, the CopilotKit🪁 team announced a collaboration with .
