A lot of women lose their career for their children…. that is reality.

But if there was an agreement during the marriage that one be a stay at home parent, both for cost savings and the added benefit to kids, that factors into alimony Careers take time to build. A contract was made.

This isn’t a mic drop at all. The rhetoric that a mother needs a job to be equal to a man after divorce is old & inaccurate because studies prove mothers take care of the kids most, if not, full time, after divorce anyway. They have to do 75%-100% by themselves. That’s not equal.

Not a huge fan of Pearl but she is right a fair amount of the time. The courts have done a horrible job with divorce.

Equality is He starts over at McDonalds too. Yay, the whole family is poor now.

Careers are built over years. If she was at home with the kids during prime career building years, you can't call it the same situation.

Its gonna take awhile,but eventually women will realize they don't want to be men.

Or... crazy idea... don't be a trash human, and keep your marriage in tact. If your word means nothing... you have failed at life. Marriage vows are a sacred commitment between you, your spouse, and God.

Its sad to what women do to their divorced husbands. Not saying all do it. But they take advantage of the system. My husband deals with his ex. She takes full advantage of the system. She lies to the courts about his income at first requiring him to pay child support that was above how much he made in a month. He paid what he could but got behind. She still attacks him to this day because he hasnt paid enough but she does what she can to try to not let him see his kids. She lies to the kids. And each time we are supposed to get them she causes trouble for us. Its beyond crazy what she gets away wirh. This last summer she just refused to send the kids because she didnt want to go to Orlando to drop them off when its two hours away but one time made us drive four hours to do jt when she bought tickets.

My husband and I agreed that I would stay home and raise and homeschool our kid's. I have no career to fall back on. If he left me, he would also not want 50/50 custody. Most men don't. But he's not supposed to pay?

My husband travels for his career 3/4 of the year. Who is raising the kids? Dr appointments, school meetings, kids sick days, who does these? Women give up $ making years to raise their children. Most of us happily. It's better for society that we stay married.

Except the men dont have to pay childcare in order to work.

Seriously you're against child support? I can see not getting Government funding but child support comes from the husband.

JustLonelyThings here doesn’t see the paradox - red pill wants the women to stay home and raise the kids, but demands she get a job. Who’s going to pay for a nanny or daycare while she works 40 hours a week?

SO LET THE MAN HAVE FULL CUSTODY AND LET THE MOTHER HAVE PART TIME CUSTODY -AND WE WILL SEE IF THE MAN CAN BE ABLE TO FULLY RAISE THAT CHILD AND STILL GO TO WORK ! ITS GONNA BE FUN WITH A SCREAMING BABY WHILE YOU WORK BUT HE CAN DO IT RIGHT ?
