Forcing gay people to fake being straight and get married to opposite-sex heterosexuals they can never feel attracted to creates traumatized spouses and broken families. Straight women deserve better than gay men who only pretend to love them as more than friends and cheat on them with secret boyfriends or hookups, and even expose them to STDs. Forced fake heterosexuality is not protecting the institution of heterosexual marriage. It contributes to its destruction. If you really are socially conservative, you support healthy same-sex relationships for homosexuals, not pretend opposite-sex marriages that are a daily living hell for everyone involved.
