Borderlands 4 on PS5 & Xbox performance has a massive memory leak issue. You are looking at 30-40fps gameplay after about 2 hours of having the game on, sometimes sub-30FPS And this is on the best possible console atm being the PS5 Pro, this optimization is a disaster.

You simply must accept the reality of the relationship between your hardware and what the software you are running is doing

BTW Borderlands 4 actually does NOT have a PS5 Pro Enhanced version its running the Base PS5 version instead

Borderlands 4 is not ps5 pro enhanced, it does not have PSSR and it 100% is not running at 4K

At this point they need to issue an apology and refund people’s game. cyberpunk77 have the same issue one release but they owned up to it and refunded everyone

Harlowe the character has bugged skills which cause the memory and graphical issues specifically, something to do with spreading status effects. Everytime I see the worst footage it’s of course on a Harlowe.

I'm sure there will be patches over next few weeks. I experience this with 1440p on xbox series X Does feel like it gets worse the more I play, then end up with bit of a headache.

A memory leak is not due to lack of optimization. It's a bug, and I'm sure they're working as fast as possible to fix it.

Looking at this gameplay, I'm glad I'm not the only one where in this game the HDR brights are overblown and has a foggy looking effect no matter what you try to do settings wise.
