Borderlands 4 on PS5 & Xbox performance has a massive memory leak issue. You are looking at 30-40fps gameplay after about 2 hours of having the game on, sometimes sub-30FPS And this is on the best possible console atm being the PS5 Pro, this optimization is a disaster.

Digital Foundry analyses Crimson Desert on PS5 Pro and concludes it's "fantastic on PS5 Pro. They actually did it". Also "one of the most impressive open world experiences" John's had. Has RT in all modes and perfomance is mostly stable even at 60fps, save for some egregious extremes where it can drop to the 30's, though 40fps and 30fps modes stay near locked. Will have PSSR 2.0 at launch, which DF couldn't test with this version of the game, so will improve further. #CrimsonDesert #PS5Pro

This is the closest Game we have to compare to GTA VI in terms of Open-World Gameplay. This Matrix: Awakens footage was recorded on Xbox Series X and as you can see the FPS is struggling to stay above 30FPS. The resolution also takes a big hit when you start moving the camera too fast because of so much processing happening at the same time. Considering GTA 6 has probably 10X times the mechanics of NPCs behavior going on and physics that are miles ahead of this game, it's safe to say that a performance mode is going to be near impossible in a PS5/Xbox Series X and S Version. Perhaps when PS5 Pro launches we will get a 60FPS mode, but things are looking rough right now.
