Extremes? We sure crowded area is extreme in game thats marketed with huge ass cities, battles, castles, camps, flying dragons spitting fire, etc... It feels like it will drop to 30's quite often

Did you watch the video? Regular crowded towns and cities aren't the same as countless enemies fighting each other in a war, launching attacks, special effects, flying around etc, also when he's killed none as they're too high level, hence are chasing him, and all on top of a mountain with vistas all around. There are literally other scenes with loads of enemies and NPC's where the framerate isn't so impacted.

@JacoBee___ We did watch and I watched all the other videos for the game that released over the last few months and its lots of action orientated stuff with lots of NPCs, the castle sieges alone will tank the framerate on the Pro, so the question is did you actually watch the entire video?

Yeah all while watching the frame counter jumping downwards as hes speeking, he also said that as soon as you start to interact with NPCs the frames tank but you failed to grasp that I see. As I said, if your hugging the countryside in the game sure a solid 60 but the game is an action orientated game which means as soon as you hit the action your frames tank! So just watched the vid and it’s not bad. Given what we’ve seen from other games on a much lesser scale, this is actually very impressive. The performance dips found don’t seem to be a huge deal. Really excited to see what PSSR2 does for it.

With VRR turned on it jumped up to low 70s Later in their vid. Not too shabby.

I'm really curious to know of PSSR2 has the same ms cost as PSSR1. Shame LFC isn't enabled. Def a very CPU bound game. Jury's out for me as to whether or not I'm actually interested in it as a game mind you!

Its doesn't have all the ray tracing modes, and if you want to argue it has a solid 60fps when standing in the middle of a field then fair enough but don't kid yourself as soon as a few NPCs come near you the frames take a dive, even in the VRR mode its not stable. I think the Pro version looks good but the frames issue is terrible, the game is based around action not static moments and there's no patching this, its a CPU issue!

There was some content the devs sent them and they did a brief video and glad to see still overly impressed with hands on the game very much looking forward to launch
