If you disable music, you'll hear a man speak to James over the prison's speakers. I can hear "you've killed somebody", but can't make out the rest. He sounds exactly like the Brookhaven director, so I assume it's him. It's possible he's watching James throughout the game, it's hinted a few times in SH2R and implied strongly in the official SH2 novel. This triggers after picking up the Lightest Weight, in the chapel. #silenthill #silenthill2 #silenthill2remake

According to the official SH2 novel James gets some kind of "sadistic pleasure" by repeatedly hitting the monsters, while also feeling disgusted, and his mind feels "clearer". In the game it isn't mentioned, but we can see it through Luke Roberts' subtle yet very detailed acting. Neuropsychology explains that the way James' eyes move after he hits a monster (downwards left and right, with frequent blinking), means he's remembering something that makes him angry and he's talking inside his head. #silenthill #silenthill2 #silenthill2remake

When the woman screams in Woodside, apt 213 (where James' corpse appears in front of the TV) turns into 208, Mary's hospital room number. We can also hear James crying and sobbing in room 208 in Lakeview. Lots of things hint at the number being important to James.
