Lawyer Danstan Omari has criticised Safaricom for denying liability in a Sh200 million compensation claim by David Mokaya, accusing the telecom giant of treating a court judgment as “mere suggestions.” Speaking at Milimani Law Courts in Nairobi, Omari said Safaricom admitted sharing Mokaya’s location data with police without a court order, calling it a constitutional violation and a blatant disregard for the Bill of Rights. He vowed to pursue the matter in court and invited other affected citizens to join the case.
