The reason Africa cannot seem to succeed despite being so resource rich has nothing to do with colonialism. It has everything to do with how almost every person in Africa is a scam artist. Like in India, they see scams and parasitic behavior as a survival technique which actually deserves praise.

The world is definitely about competition reason why Africa need a single currency that is backed by its resources. Nigerians would rather fight in other people's countries than face their own government. They will march in South Africa, protest in the UK, and argue on social media but they will not march against their own leaders. They will not demand better roads, better schools, better electricity. They will not hold their government accountable. And yet, with the right systems, policies, and infrastructure, Nigeria has the potential to be like Dubai or even better. But that will never happen as long as Nigerians keep running instead of fighting. Their country is rich, but their people are poor not because of a lack of resources, but because of a lack of will. 🇿🇦✊🏾
