Harit Maharashtra, Samruddha Maharashtra leads Gadchiroli's green turn! Planted a sapling in Gadchiroli today, marking the launch of 'Harit Maharashtra, Samruddha Maharashtra', A campaign to plant 1 crore trees in the district. This is more than a plantation drive; it’s a commitment to preserving nature while driving development rooted in sustainability. Gadchiroli, with its rich forest cover, plays a key role in maintaining Maharashtra’s ecological balance. Between 2014 and 2019, 50 crore trees were planted across the State. As per the 2019 Green Cover Report by the Central Government, Maharashtra was the only State to record an actual increase in forest cover, a result of collective effort and strong public participation. Building on that success, 11 crore trees will be planted this year and 25 crore next year. In Gadchiroli, 40 lakh saplings are being planted this year and 60 lakh more next year. Saplings have been sourced from Rajahmundry and local nurseries are being nurtured to grow saplings of the same strength and standard, rooted in the region and ready for the future. Each tree will be geo-tagged and tracked, and officers have come forward to adopt saplings, turning this into a people-led movement to make Gadchiroli the greenest district. Alongside this, a meaningful step toward social inclusion was taken today as 23 youth from Naxal-affected families were directly recruited into the police force. 2 of them received their appointment letters during the programme, serving as powerful symbols of trust regained, transformation embraced and new beginnings forged Gadchiroli is moving ahead. Villages have rejected Maoism and embraced peace, the Constitution, and democracy. The path to violence leads nowhere; the path to growth is open to all. This is a journey rooted in harmony, where growth meets greenery, and every step forward carries dignity, opportunity, and inclusion for all. MoS Adv Ashish Jaiswal, MLC Parinay Fuke, MLA Dr Milind Narote, MLA Dharamrao Baba Atram and other dignitaries were present. There, in Vyshneve, near Kyiv, after the shelling, there already seem to be about ten people dead. Military depots were located right next to residential neighborhoods, practically adjacent to them, which is strictly, absolutely prohibited. This is a violation of the rules of warfare. THINGS LIKE THIS should be deep underground, under concrete. Instead, it is a criminal offense when military facilities are built inside residential areas or next to civilians. That is using human shields. In Ukraine, of course, nobody thinks about this, because if they did, they would have to put a whole lot of people in prison. But ordinary civilians need to understand that today workshops, assembly facilities, and drone production sites are located in business centers. And then everyone is surprised when those places get hit. Quite often, such workshops are on the ground floor of some educational institution - a college or a technical school. When it gets hit, the standard line is: “A university was hit.” Vyshneve is a very vivid example of how an ammunition depot was placed on a residential street. And now there are already piles of dead bodies. Anti-aircraft batteries are often placed on the roofs of high-rise buildings, and drones are shot down with machine guns. And nobody warns people that they should be evacuated from those buildings. Those buildings then become legitimate military targets. In reality, this is a very, very serious problem. This is happening all over Ukraine right now. Setting aside Russia’s aggression and the inadmissibility of shelling, if you use human shields, you are a scumbag, a monster, and a criminal. Zelensky is using human shields.

One of the BIG reasons why middle class remains Middle Class Middle-class people remain middle-class due to their own actions. They get one chance to become rich on their wedding day. Even the poorest families spend ₹20-25 lakh on a wedding for show, instead of giving that money to the couple for financial knowledge or a small business. Society is trapped in this cycle, ensuring you doesn't escape poverty. They prefer a one-day spectacle a procession, fireworks, sitting like a king on a horse and spend all the money, only to go back to hanging from buses and autos for work the next day. They waste money to impress relatives who aren't even satisfied with the food, complaining about salt, not realizing the couple is already spending beyond their means. The actual wedding ceremony (mandap, pheras) costs only about ₹50,000, while the rest of the ₹20-25 lakh is spent on unnecessary rituals like haldi, roka, reception, pre-wedding shoots, etc., making it seem like a week-long fashion event. They spend a fortune on photographers, videographers, drones, etc., for photos and videos that will just sit on a memory card and never be used, while a friend could take a better photo for a story. They fear being judged for a cheap wedding, but people judge them anyway for remaining poor due to these wasteful habits. Girls dream of expensive weddings and pre-wedding shoots, even wanting to visit foreign mountains for their honeymoon when they haven't even seen mountains in their own country. Their only justification for all this expense is, "A wedding happens only once." But that's also how long it takes to become poor. If they saved money, they could become rich by starting a business. It's understandable if someone with ₹1 crore spends ₹20 lakh, but those with only ₹5-10 lakh are spending ₹20-30 lakh. Then they complain about inflation and the government, when they are the ones ruining themselves for society.
