This couple are in Walmart and have a question. But none of the employees they ask....can speak English. Learning basic English is a requirement to become legalized .... this tells me they are illegals. I would call ICE and let them straighten out their immigration status. Foreign students are flooding universities and Australian students are being forced to do group assignments with people who can’t speak English. In many cases, one or two students must do all the work for the entire group or risk receiving a fail result. The universities’ addiction to revenue from foreign students is putting the education of Australians at risk, and Labor has a plan to make it worse. It should be a simple requirement - if you arrive here to study, you must have a fluent level of English.

Pauline had an exchange of words yesterday with a woke ABC journalist. Pauline is deeply concerned that there are 872,000 permanent residents in Australia who speak either no English or very little English. The woke ABC journalist seems to think this is fine and even something to be encouraged. We can have no hope of protecting Australian culture and our way of life if we continue to let people into the country who speak no English and have no desire to learn it.

I hope this clears up any confusion about Quebec being a Nation in Canada. It has since 2007. "The Québécois nation motion was a parliamentary motion tabled by Conservative Party leader and Prime Minister of Canada Stephen Harper on November 22, 2006,[1] and approved by the House of Commons of Canada on November 27. It was approved 265–16 with supporters in every party in the Commons.[2] The English motion read:" Never say I don't put in the effort folks. I was a Reformer. So when I heard Stephen Harper say this, it put a bitter taste in my mouth. Harper was supposed to give Reformers an elected Senate and a Senate that recognized the population of the West, when doling out seats. Instead Reformers got a Pro Quebec equalization retool & Quebec was declared a Nation, within Canada. Something that has had a very negative impact on Western Canada and given Quebec special status in Canada. Harper did all of this to eventually win a majority government. You can't rewrite history.

The journalist said that SBS provides news in over 60 languages. According to the journalist in question, this was meant to help integration! My view hasn’t changed. If you want to represent residents, you should be able to read council reports, understand budgets, ask informed questions and communicate clearly with the public. That’s why, years ago, I called for all Labour candidates to have a minimum standard of GCSE English and Maths, or an equivalent qualification. During the local election campaign, there were candidates from across the political spectrum who raised serious concerns about whether they had the communication skills and ability required for such an important public role. Thankfully, some of those who struggled to answer basic questions or communicate clearly were not elected because you do have to wonder what council meetings would look like if they had been. I do, however, thank Shaykh Zahir Mehmood for his honesty in addressing the issue openly. At least he has started a conversation many people have privately been thinking for years. Those elected who struggle to speak English properly, or who do not have the skills to carry out the role effectively, should reflect carefully on what is truly best for their communities and whether they can genuinely fulfil the responsibilities expected of a councillor. Being a councillor is a serious responsibility, not a token position. Especially in Birmingham, it is one of the highest civic roles in society and should be treated with the utmost respect at all times. #fyp

Why can’t England prioritise our people, heritage, and our historic Christian faith, but Israel can be a country by and for Jewish people? Why does our politics concern itself with the well-being of Jews as a people, but not the English? Why is Britain compelled to keep its borders open, because Jews were persecuted in the twentieth century, but Israel shuts its doors to India, Africa, and Islamic terror? It’s a double standard, and we don’t have to sustain it.
