You can’t assume a double play.

This in a nutshell is why unearned runs are stupid because Royce Lewis misplaying a ball does not suddenly absolve Joe Ryan of the responsibility to stop 6 runs from scoring.

Certainly an error but I do not believe an official scorer would ever assume a Double Play. Recreating the rest of the inning with that out probably lead to all of those runs being unearned.

They should revise that play with Miz too.
