I am LOVING current Sonic Team. Whilst these are merely tests, it shows they're actively working and thinking about ways to make him look better. I loved Shadow Gens animation, super hyped for the next title if this is just a fraction of what we can expect.

Oh shit this is very interesting. I like that they were at least considering it because I think everyone also felt that shouldve been what theyve done with the rewrite too. Shows their heart’s are in the right place but i guess time constraints got in the way

The road that would eventually lead to the Sonic animated shorts began with Webber pitching an animated opening for Sonic Mania, in the vein of Sonic CD. It was shot down, but when he got the opportunity to help with the launch trailer, they spent the entire budget on the animation that would eventually make its way into the game as it's opening animation. #SonicNews #AX26 Webber reached out to Tyson Hesse, who he met at Comic Con Years later. Hesse said yes, and got it done with a small team of friends in four months.

We’re joined by Tor Frick, Creative Director at Neon Giant to talk about NoLawTheGame and how Unreal Engine enabled their small team to create an immersive, high-fidelity shooter. Using Nanite, Neon Giant were able to create pipelines that helped their artists handcraft spaces with intention and retain high detail across surfaces. MetaHuman, Lumen, MegaLights, PCG and Niagara Data Channels enabled the team to achieve their vision for Port Desire, with NPCs that react to dynamic lighting and a world that reflects the player's exploration.
