Breaking Ball Different codes, same principles by Mayo GAA & Limerick GAA 1. Player does not try to catch the ball clean under pressure & breaks it to ground 2. Players moving in to breaking area and not static waiting underneath the ball. Useful restart when under pressure

@MayoGAA @LimerickCLG Davy started this with clare in 2013. Targeting Colin Ryan under puckouts who would just knock down the ball to mobile midfielders and half forwards.

- DM passing straight to winger/CM and NOT to RB - CM/10 demanding the ball BTL - Ball always in motion to maintain unpredictability (currently always see Gabriel, Saliba, Rice, Zubi put studs on ball) - Players technical enough to receive under pressure Compare to this to now..

Chelsea players were tasked with keeping the ball moving through quick passes, while other players pressed from different angles to disrupt their passing patterns. A sharp drill focused on awareness, movement, and decision making under pressure.

Míchel, the Girona FC coach, points the way for youth football. Players should crave possession and defy high pressure by holding the ball longer. First-time passes are tough under pressure. It's about personality, holding onto the ball, at least 2 touches per player, daring to be creative – just like playing street football! ⚽️🌆 #YouthDevelopment #StreetFootballVibes

The ball should travel straight from your 1 position to your 2—not across to the opposite side of your body Ball raises help clean up that path and keep the ball moving straight into your shot

The ball contacting the ground does not unequivocally determine if a pass should be ruled complete or not. However, when loss of possession occurs as the ball contacts the ground, the ground is essentially aiding the receiver in the process of the catch. In #ALAvsUGA, I believe that the receiver did not maintain possession of the ball as it contacted the ground and would’ve liked to see this play reviewed.

To try and explain what it’s like when you play Celtic and rangers: 75% of the time you are under pressure - when you win the ball the bias from the officials is often applied at that point to give them the ball back and the pressure is put back on you. Celtic get a Fk here.

Call on the field is catch. Looks like his right hand is under the ball. Not sure the ball moves when it touches the ground. Can’t see how they turned that call over.

How does a centre-back pass like a playmaker, dribble under pressure, tackle everything in sight, stay press-resistant & still strike the ball like a forward? This guy is not normal. 😳

C.J. Stroud led the Texans 92 yards to take the lead with just over 2 minutes left. Multiple awesome throws on this drive with a 3rd down conversion under pressure to Nico & excellent ball placement to Noel. He’s playing the best ball of his career.
