#VPDNews: Vancouver Police are sharing images of a suspect in multiple early-morning break-ins on the city’s west-side, and encourage people to lock their doors and windows to prevent additional crimes. "We are actively working to identify and arrest this suspect, who is linked to break-ins throughout Marpole, Kerrisdale, Arbutus Ridge, Oakridge and Shaunghnessey," says Constable Tania Visintin. "Until we find him, we're asking people to take extra precautions and to call police immediately if you encounter him." The suspect, believed to be an Asian man in his 30s, has struck 16 times since January. He enters homes through unlocked doors late at night or in the early morning – often when people are home – and wears blue gloves and a medical mask to cover his face. He often steals cash or other valuables that are left out in the open. "This brazen behaviour is concerning, because it's occurring when people are at home in their beds," adds Constable Visintin. "Although nobody has been hurt, the fact this suspect is entering homes at night is frightening." Police believe the suspect may live in the area and is travelling the neighbourhoods at night on foot. He typically wears a dark baseball cap, a dark hooded jacket, dark pants, and dark running shoes. The most recent break-in occurred around 3:30 a.m. at a home near Marguerite Street and West 41st Avenue. All of the incidents have occurred between West 16th Avenue to the north and West 70th Avenue to the south, and between Oak Street to the east and Elm Street to the west. A resident reported that the suspect came to their home on Pendennis Road (between ZUVA and Westcot) at around 11:16pm. He brought a ladder and looked over the gate, even facing one of the security cameras. He left and then returned at about 1:07am with the same ladder and a large fuel container. He stayed on the property for about 45 minutes, during which he was smoking and eating a guava while cutting and damaging pipes to steal diesel. He left at around 1:58am and walked up Pendennis Road towards Coull Drive. If anyone recognises the suspect, please send a private message. Fred vs Khaled part 2: These 2 clashed at the last protest in Liverpool. Fred caught him with an elbow and volleyed him in the ribs. Khaled thought it was a cheap shot from behind. He has swore revenge. We tried to put a charity boxing match on between them for a little girl but we couldn’t get it over the line. Khaled managed to get his own back today…kind of. It must have been doing his head in for months. He’s been doing everything to get him in the ring. So he got him in the street. But it was quickly broken up by police. I can’t help but feel this won’t be the last we see from these 2.

Investigators believe the same suspect has targeted multiple businesses, throwing an object through storefront windows and glass doors before fleeing the area. Hello everyone, I’m posting on behalf of Bamimosu Mariam, a sickle cell warrior who has been battling osteomyelitis for 16 years. She has undergone 6 different surgeries, yet her condition hasn’t improved. A few weeks ago, she went for a check-up and her X-ray showed that her bone has broken despite the iron implant in her leg. This is a very difficult situation, and she urgently needs support to get the treatment required to help her walk again. Every contribution, share, and kind word can make a difference.
