why are @AssemblyDems @CASenateDems are in the hands of extremist elements that always target Hindu Americans ? They did this with #SB403 earlier and again. This appears like clock work. Who pays you to do these laws, who asked for it? There are issues which need urgent attention - healthcare, law enforcement, Homelessness, deficit. - endless. But how come this became important?

We appreciate Anna Caballero and Chair Assemblymember Rhodesia Ransom for their work to improve the bill and ensure law enforcement trainings on transnational repression are not weaponized against the Indian and Hindu American diaspora. We look forward to continuing to work on further improvements to the bill.

"SB 509 would define transnational repression in California law, and require the California Office of Emergency Services (CalOES) to develop training for law enforcement to recognize and respond appropriately to such threats, to better protect and serve our community," Sikh Coalition shares in a petition promoting the Bill.

All 100 U.S. Senators have approved the Epstein bill through unanimous consent. As CNN’s Manu Raju explained, this wasn’t a normal vote. It was a procedural green light, eliminating delays and skipping a formal roll-call entirely.
