Today, in my capacity as the President of NANS, I led all the structures of NANS, including sister unions, NAUS, NAPS, NANCES and NFSAN to the Community High school, Ahoro-Esiele, and Yawato community in Orire Local Government area of Oyo state, where we visited the scenes where our students and teachers were abducted. Going forward, we met with the King, some of the families of the victims, and parents in the communities of Ahoro-Esiele and Yawato communities. Furthermore, we assured them of our solidarity and support for them in this time of trouble and grief. Subsequently, we assured them that we are constantly calling on the government to ensure the immediate rescue and safe return of the abducted students and teachers. Conclusively, I assured all Nigerian Students that as far as I remain their President, I will continue to protect their interest. OAU transport system was near perfect, adequate buses and bikes, we rarely experienced queues until the First Lady came and decided she didn’t like the ease of transportation and introduced “change” by donating CNG buses. The school management in turn banned all motorcycles and commercial buses on campus and subjected over 30,000 students to just about 50 buses and a few tricycles. OAU has one of the largest land masses of any Nigerian university, yet students are now stranded daily. This is a Monday morning where students are supposed to rush for class, but they are stuck at the campus gate because of the inefficiency of the CNG buses. Students are struggling to go to class in the morning and in the evenings to even get back to their hostels. Students staying off campus now spend almost double to get to campus, all alternative transport means have been removed The management have cars to bypass all of this, but majority of students do not. Yet they released statements talking about how the buses will “ease transportation” and even implied students appreciate the system. Meanwhile, students are trekking, missing classes, and spending hours in queues. Let it be clear that students do not appreciate this system. It has made our lives harder, not better. WASINMI, OGUN: After speaking with students of OwuTech, Naija Confra reports that the incident began with a large-scale robbery in the student area. During the robbery, a cultist was seriously injur€d. Students protested, but were ignored and later pushed back, escalating the situation. (More videos on Telgrm). The robbery took place around 3 a.m., with several hostels targeted, leaving many students injur€d. A Buccaneer member was critically injur€d and is currently receiving treatment. Students reported the robbery to the school authorities and the king’s palace, but they were ignored, and instead, the police were sent to disperse the protestors. Student sources told NC that cultists joined the protest, leading to gunfire exchanges with the police (shots fired in the air). Thanks friends for standing with me at every moment of persecution in the course of our public interest work. It means a lot. With the general public on our side, I know that the oppressors can only win the small battles but not the war. They can win cases, but not the cause. No weapon shaped against public interest can prosper. Ultimately, they lose more than they would have lost if they simply addressed the issues. The choice is theirs. Meanwhile, in the near future, I’m starting campaign “DON’T FEED THE GREEDY GIRAFFE”. As students apply for higher education in this period, let us actively advertise universities that care about quality and wellbeing of students and staff, and de-campaign those that simply believe in making money while using ‘might’ and impunity.

Vision IAS Delhi Students Deserve Clarity. No student should have to prepare for UPSC with fear, confusion and uncertainty. Also, No institute should have to go through such a phase. Students have paid their fees, trusted the institute and planned their preparation around its classes, teachers, test series and study material. They are not asking for too much. They only want to know what is happening and what will happen next. This is not the time for silence. The Director, the management and the senior faculty should come together on one stage and speak directly to the students. They should clearly explain whether classes will continue, which faculty members will remain, how pending courses will be completed and what support will be given to enrolled students. Even if there are problems, students can understand them. What they cannot handle is being left without answers. At this point, assurance matters. A clear and honest interaction can reduce rumours, rebuild confidence and help students focus again on their preparation. Students are already carrying the pressure of one of the toughest examinations in the country. They should not be made to carry the burden of institutional uncertainty as well. They are not asking for promises. They are asking for clarity, continuity and responsibility. I am sure Vision IAS will resolve this.

🚨 QUICK NOLAN WELLS CASE UPDATE New details have emerged in the investigation into the death of 18-year-old Nolan Xavier Wells. GPS boat tracking data and a distress call for help corroborate key witness timelines from the July 4 boat trip to Horn Island, Mississippi. The emergency call reported mechanical issues, including the boat taking on water and bilge pump problems, around the time the vessel left the island at approximately 4 30–4 31 pm without Wells aboard. His body was later recovered on July 6 near the northwest tip of Horn Island. Wells’ parents met with the district attorney and are now prepared to provide Nolan’s cellphone to investigators. They have also raised concerns about possible deleted messages and discrepancies in location data from apps such as Life360. At this time, authorities have stated they do not suspect foul play. Nolan’s funeral is scheduled for Monday. Investigators continue to ask anyone with information to come forward as they work toward a complete understanding of what happened. The GPS data and distress call do NOT indicate what happened to Nolan or establish a cause of death. What they do appear to do is corroborate the timeline that witnesses and Nolan’s friends have consistently provided regarding the boat’s departure from Horn Island.

"Our college budget is more than your country's budget. " this is one of the worse statement from KIIT institution teachers. Where is the education gone ? This is not about India/Nepal or any other country, this shows how low education system we have , sad. You can’t give such statements to any country when it comes to education. 17th February, 2025: Nepali student Prakriti Lamsal, a third year student at Kalinga Institute of Industrial Technology (KIIT), was found dead on Sunday evening in the hostel campus of the university. The incident has sparked widespread protests near the KIIT campus. Students, including many from Nepal gathered on sunday night demand a transparent investigation. In response, two platoons of police forces were deployed to maintain order. Amid rising tensions, KIIT University issued a notice and forced over 500 Nepali students to leave the university. Nepali students were seeking an investigation since Prakriti complained about the harassement and torture in the university. Despite her constant appeal, University didnot take any action which led to the incident. #JusticeForPrakriti

Tell me the British population aren't being replaced This again is pure malfeasance Hiring all these people from abroad who may not be trained to the expected British standards - who may not have adequate spoken English - will directly put patients lives at risk Also it's a disgrace when there's straight A students not getting by places to study medicine and there's also trained British students who can't get jobs. The U.K. and England in particular is being broken down in every area from the military to the nhs to the education system to our own government It's BLATANTLY obvious IMO the U.K. has been bought and is systematically being asset stripped and broken down by people who are envious of the old Britain and fear what it used to be capable of .
