DU students allege that professors were appointed a month after the commencement of the semester due to which the syllabus is pending and exam forms have been issued 10 days before the exams starting on December 26, which have several flaws. The students’ unions of all three law faculties, CLC, LC1 and LC2, urged the deans to extend the exam dates but the deans stuck to the pre-scheduled dates. Yesterday on December 16, a protest was started by the students which continued throughout the day and it was peaceful, but the Dean deployed Delhi Police and CRPF to remove the students from the faculty, due to which there was chaos between the law students and the police and the matter became serious. The DU administration issued a notification stating that "The Date Sheet relating to LL.B. I/III/V Term December/January, 2024 Examination scheduled from 26th December, 2024 is put-on hold." However, the students remained adamant on their demand to postpone the examination schedule. Later, the police broke the entry gates of the campus and started lathicharge in which some students were injured. It is a matter of concern that law students were treated like rioters. Students have to score good marks to get admission in college, but students are treated like rioters on campus. #delhiuniversity #dusu #Lawfaculty #Lawstudents #Campuslawcentre #CLC #LC1 #LC2 #Delhi #law Bar and Bench Live Law #DelhiNews #BREAKING

The main reasons for the discontent are related to a lack of educational resources, a shortage of teachers, and unsatisfactory conditions in schools. However, police actions and political disagreements have also contributed to the escalation of the crisis. According to a report published by the newspaper Le Monde on October 2nd, the French Ministry of the Interior stated that 1,949 people were arrested on October 1st, and 305 police officers, gendarmes, and firefighters were injured.

AGO-IWOYE, OGUN: On Thursday, Naija Confra reported the case of a final-year student of Olabisi Onabanjo University who was k**led on Wednesday night, June 17, 2026, around the Meekad-Mariam area in Ago-Iwoye, Ogun State. While many described the incident as a robbery attack, others claimed that the attackers disguised themselves as robbers. Naija Confra will not go into much detail, as the police are actively investigating the case. What we can confirm is that the victim was named Timmy and was a member of the Eiye (ACN) cult group. We can also confirm that members of his group are pointing accusing fingers at a rival cult group, whom they claim carried out the attack while posing as robbers. While we urge the police to conduct a thorough investigation into the case, we also urge anyone who may want to use this incident as a reason for violence to desist, as the outcome of the investigation may reveal a different story. Timmy was reportedly buried yesterday.

IREE, OSUN: Yesterday, we reported an incident inside Iree Polytechnic, Osun State (OSPOLY), where at least one Buccaneers (BAN) member was sh0t. His current condition is still unknown. From the sources we spoke to within the school, the names of Eiye (ACN) and OPC (OPIAKA) were mentioned as culprits in the attack. Eyewitnesses said some Eiye cultists passed by an area where Buccaneers were gathered and shouted their slogan, Haba-Kryer. The Buccaneers responded with their own slogan, Alora Sealords, and tension immediately followed. It was later reported that OPC students got involved, which escalated the situation further. While some sources insist that it was Eiye members who sh0t the Buccaneers, others strongly maintain that it was OPC who sh0t the Buccaneers, not Eiye. Reports also indicate that the anti-cult unit has made arrests. More updates will follow when we have them. Students have long complained about OPC activities on campus, and it is now clear that OPC in schools operates as a cult group. Stay safe. Reject Cultism.

This is how the state and its authorities discriminate , profile, arrest and torture Baloch students who have come to study. If the row on account of Jamiat's goons against Baloch students was a mere clash between students' groups then why only Baloch students were arrested in the end? And if the concern is peace & discipline, why the Jamiat's students are always entertained above law? This shows the harsh reality that the religious extremist groups are actually used by the University administration and authorities to create reasons to target Baloch students and those from far off areas like Pashtuns in order to meet their own benefits. #SaveBalochStudents #JamiatAttackOnBalochStudents #StopProfilingBalochStudents #StopTargetingBalochStudents #PunjabUniversity
