It's always been about the cash! They could have made a plea deal before it even went to trial. He would have gotten less time than by jury verdict. Instead, they wanted to get more money with their gofun raiser. That's sickening and despicable. Its sickening they used their son to get free money. They didn't spend any of it on helping him. It's very sad, but I hope Karmelo sees the reality of how trashy his family really is.
It’s about the cash. The initial GSG cash was used for a lifestyle, now that lifestyle has to be maintained and neither parent can earn the $$$ to maintain it. Someone has to pay the rent and it isn’t cheap.
The family could have bought a $200k home and paid legal but they chose to spend $$ on an overpriced house!

God forbid that Anthony’s parents do the right thing with the money they didn’t even DESERVE toward their son’s defense first, then get a modest house (which they didn’t need to get for their “safety”, ) cars, etc etc. Like putting anything aside, or having someone who didn’t have a brain the size of a pea to make sure the money wasn’t squandered, which it was. Bottom line, Karmelo is exactly where he should be, and I’m pretty sure his family will lose that house, or cars, or all the other garbage they bought. The Anthony family will reap exactly what it has sewn. Poor Austin is dead, and Karmelo will probably soon be wishing he was.
