Throwback to when Dorit told Erika that Kyle sent her a manipulative and calculated text the night before the reunion, supposedly to silence her. Then Erika read the text out loud. Honestly, Dorit’s biggest mistake was putting that text on display like that. It didn’t do her friendship with Kyle any favours. It feels like they could have worked through things, but that moment really became the tipping point for both of them. Dorit saw it as manipulative, while Kyle felt it was completely crossing a line to share it. On the flip side, Kyle’s biggest mistake was saying Dorit exaggerated their friendship and how close they actually were. The video shows the new formatting tool that will allow users to hide selected text as spoiler content before sending a message. Recipients would be able to tap the message to reveal the text. This would help people share messages without immediately exposing the details. The feature will also reduce accidental spoilers in group chats where not everyone wants to see the same information at the same time. It will be compatible with text messages and media captions. In the future, it may support photo and video content as well. The feature is under testing, and it will be available to beta testers soon.

Minister of Justice Sean Fraser was asked about Bill C-9 today and the possibility of the amendment to strip the Criminal Code of the protection for free religious speech in Canada. For the record, here is his full statement. While we appreciate that Minister Fraser thinks that the amendment to strip the good-faith religious text exemption will have no real implication on religious and individual freedom, we respectfully disagree. Among other factors, there would be no reason to strip the exemption at all in the first place if doing so had zero effect of the Criminal Code. We need more consultation on Bill C-9. All Canadians and concerned communities must be heard. We must protect freedom and free expression.

BREAKING: Deputy FM Kazem Gharibabadi says the MoU has been finalized and will be officially signed on Friday.
