Everybody’s celebrating billions in fraud being stopped — great. But here’s the real question nobody wants to answer: when does that money actually go back to the American people? Because we’re the ones who got robbed. We’re the ones carrying the national debt. We’re the ones living tight while these states ran fraud rings like it was a damn business model. Stopping fraud is step one. Recovering the money is step two. Paying back the taxpayers is step three. And we’re still stuck at step one. California is still bleeding money like a busted pipe. Fake hospices, fake nonprofits, fake “community programs,” all of it. They shut down the minute someone checks the books — that tells you everything. That wasn’t “care,” that was theft. And every dollar stolen adds to the national debt we’re expected to carry. So when do Americans get paid back? When does the debt get reduced? When does the taxpayer finally get relief instead of being treated like an ATM? We should be clawing back every cent. We should be cutting off every pipeline that feeds these fraud networks. We should be shutting down funding to any group, any state, any ideology that hates this country or exploits it. You want to fix the national debt? Start by returning the billions that were stolen. Start by making these states pay back what they siphoned. Start by putting Americans first for once. Fraud didn’t just drain programs — it drained the entire country. And until that money comes back, we’re still paying for crimes we didn’t commit.
What gets me is, Democrats campaign on these government programs in every election cycle telling us how much they really care for the poor, the sick etc., so you’d think they would be THANKFUL that we’re eliminating the fraud, so those funds can start going back to the programs to help their constituents they tell us how much they really care about, but instead they’re ATTACKING US for eliminating the fraud. To me, this is the most obvious tell in political history.

$42 billion is a massive number but the distinction matters: preventing improper payments isn’t the same as recovering stolen money. The next question is how much taxpayer money was actually recovered and where it went.
