I don't respect Eric Weinstein because he had a once in a lifetime opportunity to sit across from Hal Puthoff, who knows the truth, and was told directly that defense contractors are hiding physics knowledge. If Weinstein was worth his PhD, he would have read the DIRDs that Puthoff commissioned via the DIA, which outline said physics. None of these academics actually do anything. They're the equivalent of Somali Daycares in Minnesota.

This reply really proves my point. Professors should teach, but this reads like a copy/paste AI response. NASA people investigated themselves and found no wrongdoing, great, just means its legally classified, which is no surprise because 'UFOs' are nuclear secrets. Dr. Yu does not have access to design/build these craft, that's done by Air Force/Lockheed at sites like Air Force Plant 42. By people like Eric W Davis, which is probably why he's testifying to congress. You really think a physicist with wormhole papers is testifying about aliens? lol Have you read his papers??? Why did General Lanni hold up his teleportation physics study and say it was an example of the kind of research he wanted done in his labs? That doesn't give you pause? If you listened to the engineers they have the answers to your gaps in physics. The Aether is 100% real, and it's quite embarrassing that all we had to do was turn the experiment sideways. If you think otherwise, then please present your better theory that explains the world. If you can’t do that, then you have to go with the laws of physics. Well, the laws of physics are completely computable. They can fit inside a Turing machine or computer, and a computer can simulate the laws of physics with arbitrary accuracy, limited only by the specific power of that computer. If you increase the power of that computer, you can simulate them more accurately. So humans already simulate—in our minds we simulate—and through our computers we simulate the weather, we simulate quasars, we even simulate human systems. We simulate the economy. We simulate all kinds of things. So anything that can be understood, we can understand in our minds. This is something the AGI people get wrong when they talk about superintelligence. There is nothing out there that can understand something fundamentally that we can’t understand. It might be faster at it, it might have more compute, it might have more memory, but there’s no concept that it can understand that we can’t ourselves understand. So we are maximal universal explainers. That means every human is capable of unbounded creativity. Anyone could be the next Einstein or Fermi or Elon Musk or Jeff Bezos or Jonas Salk or whatever. Today I questioned the Solicitor General about the Attorney General’s role in the collapse of the China spy prosecution. Throughout this saga there have been conflicting accounts about who did what, and why decisions were taken. The rules are clear, the Attorney General must be consulted on politically sensitive matters. That doesn’t compromise their independence, it ensures they are informed at the time. We understand from the Director of Public Prosecutions that the Attorney General must have been told there was insufficient evidence to prosecute. If that’s the case, the Attorney General’s duty was to warn the Government that unless they provided more evidence, the case would collapse. So my question: Did the Attorney General say to the Government, “You are not providing enough evidence to secure a prosecution. It is over to you to do as you have been asked by the DPP”? We deserve to know whether that warning was given, and if it was given, why it was ignored.

First real look at my sword fighting hobby project - Responsive, accurate, freeform combat using physics that are fun, not frustrating, with intuitive controls that are easy to learn, hard to master. A lot of physics based sword fighting games have come out lately but IMO none strike that difficult balance between control, animation and physics...trying my best to pull it off here. This early test is hacked together but it's already showing promise. Feels good to attack and defend and really gives you the feeling that you are fighting with a sword; distance, timing, weapon placement, etc. all matter. Anyway, very WIP with lots to do...and for once, don't look at the feet! I'll take care of that someday ;) #UE5 #gamedev #physics #swordfighting
