Former CENTCOM commander Gen. Frank McKenzie says the U.S. military can call the operation in Iran a success when “the Strait of Hormuz is open” and they “get some kind of deal on the ballistic missile program.” “But, I think there're very discreet things that, for me, at least from an operational military perspective, would look like victory,” he says. “I believe all of those things are actually within our grasp. We just need to continue. Iran will ultimately respond to the use of force.”

Air Force assets are for bigger strategic goals. These helicopters will sleep with us at the trench. So the helicopters and the rifles and the tanks will be together.
