Today we lay to rest a true architect of change. No matter your color, race, creed, religion, or background. It took courage to be Rev Jesse Jackson Sr. And I can only be who I am today because of the risk that he took. He was vocal when it was dangerous. He stood firm when his life and his family’s safety were at risk. You don’t have to agree with everything someone said to respect the courage they showed in saying it.
