Regardless of all this, Republicans still don’t seem to care. Will Republicans care if he’s convicted or will they just blame the jury and judge? “If they nominate Nikki Haley, we’re in trouble,” one Senior Democratic Strategist close to Biden's Campaign said, per Politico. Team Biden is terrified of Nikki Haley. I've said this once, and I'll say it again. The worst move Republicans could make in the primaries, is electing Donald Trump. I truly believe that Donald Trump brings more Democrats out to vote than Republicans. Biden beat Trump once, and if you think that a possible conviction will bring more people out to vote for Trump than it would for Biden, then you simply are not gauging this situation correctly. Democrats aren't "in love" with Biden. They support Biden for two reasons: His policies align with theirs, and they can't stand the MAGA movement. If Republicans elect someone like Nikki Haley, who has more moderate views and is definitely not part of the MAGA movement, not only will less Democrats come out to the polls, but many Democrats would likely vote for her as the first female president. Haley is the least divisive candidate on the GOP side and that's what most independents will support. If Biden wins in 2024, the Republicans only have themselves to blame if they elect Donald Trump. Answers like this one is why she will win the moderate vote if given the chance. Will Republicans even consider Haley though? Would any democrats vote for her?
