🚨#BREAKING: Hundreds of constructions sites are sitting completely empty in Charlotte NC today. HUNDREDS of them.

Matt, I’m the owner of a 3 generation family business in the construction sector. We’ve been in business 59 years. NEVER have we employed a single person who is not an American citizen. The companies that do this should be fined and the ownership should all be jailed. This pisses me off. It’s greed plain and simple.

Not a problem if they would hire Americans.

As an American that has worked construction, I can ensure you that Americans can and will do these jobs.

All jobs that have been stolen from Americans. How many men have had to take lower paying jobs or jobs not in their field because greedy employers hired illegals as construction workers to save a few bucks? These employers need to be prosecuted for hiring illegals. They are traitors.

So lock up the employers for hiring them

Construction used to be a great job for American workers. Now builders are paying illegals less and charging more for homes…not to mention illegal craftsmanship is like how they came into the country. They cut corners. Go tour some of those new home sites and you’ll see what I’m talking about.

Local Charlotte officials should be investigated. Charlotte would be 15% smaller without the invasion. The Charlotte commuters report their commute time cut in half. This will save lives and property. The property market will have a flood of housing available and life will get more affordable for the citizens. Hopefully, they are using the Charlotte Air National Guard Base to fly folks back to their home countries by the tens of thousands. Save Charlotte.

@MajoripMalinky Looks like they were breaking federal law by hiring illegal immigrants. I did the same thing and the Obama administration gave me 5 years in federal prison for it. It’s time for these other business owners to get some prison time.

Interesting that ICE is always raiding work sites of people who apparently are also getting handouts?

The project owners were probably paying for prevailing wages, or close to it, while their contractor was paying half that amount to illegal workers under the table. In this case, empty job sites are probably signs of progress.
