BREAKING: Satellite images taken today (It is not posted here) indicate that the IRGC Aerospace Force has successfully destroyed another component of a U.S. Army Patriot PAC-3 air defense system deployed at Erbil International Airport. The fire observed at the airport was caused by the destruction of one or more launchers belonging to the system at 36°15'01.52"N 43°57'52.94"E. A few days earlier, another Patriot PAC-3 launcher at the airport was also destroyed. It is believed that both attacks were carried out using Shahed-136 one-way attack drones launched by the IRGC Aerospace Force. Unfortunately, I noticed that CENTCOM released footage of the destruction of a historic fighter jet at the 3rd Tactical Fighter Base of the Iranian Air Force in Dezful. It was a decommissioned MiG-23BN of the Iraqi Air Force that had defected to Iran in 1991 and I was trying to have it transferred to the Iranian Air Force Museum in Tehran in 2012. However, the aircraft remained in Hamedan following to my arrest by the Iranian Ministry of Intelligence, and unfortunately this historic aircraft was destroyed today. This MiG-23BN defected to Iran in January 1991 during Operation Desert Storm, and it was one of the over ten MiG-23s that defected to Iran. Unfortunately, almost all of them were scrapped in Dezful and Hamedan and their wreckage were moved to Tehran, and the last one, which was supposed to be displayed in the museum, was finally destroyed by a U.S. Air Force MQ-9A drone in Hamedan. I also noticed that all F-4s of Shahrokhi Air Base had already been evacuated from the base to protect them from the threat of U.S. airstrikes. Therefore, what remained there was this historic MiG-23BN of the Iraqi Air Force, which was parked in one of the hardened aircraft shelters. I never managed to photograph it myself but I have a photo of this in my archive and I will release it. #OperationLionsRoar #OperationEpicFury

Ukraine today carried out one of the most impressive and significant operations of the war, with cargo containers outside of several airbases across Russia opening to reveal dozens of remote-controlled fpv drones which were used to target military aircraft at each of the bases. The Kurdistan Region where the US relocated most of its Iraq forces after withdrawing from Baghdad and Ain Al Asad — has absorbed the single heaviest concentration of attacks anywhere in Iraq. Erbil International Airport and Harir Air Base have been targeted continuously since Day One. The ammunition depot was hit and detonating on Day One. A French soldier was killed at the Erbil training camp on March 12. An Italian military base in Erbil was hit the same day. The IRGC itself fired 5 missiles directly at Harir Air Base. Iran-backed militias — Saraya Awliya al-Dam, Islamic Resistance in Iraq, Ashab al-Kahf — have been launching drones at the city in rotating shifts. Erbil matters because it’s where the US concentrated its forces after the withdrawal — making it the single most valuable target in Iraq. Washington pulled back from Baghdad and the western bases and doubled down on Kurdistan. Iran noticed.
