There has been little to stop them, as the Royal Jordanian Air Force does not possess advanced air defense systems. Meanwhile, the U.S. Army Patriot PAC-3 air defense battery is focused solely on protecting Muwaffaq Salti Air Base. As these videos show tonight, the IRGC Aerospace Force's ballistic missiles have been able to strike Jordanian airbases. The fire observed at the airport was caused by the destruction of one or more launchers belonging to the system at 36°15'01.52"N 43°57'52.94"E. A few days earlier, another Patriot PAC-3 launcher at the airport was also destroyed.
