🚨BREAKING: ICE agents are now pulling people out of restrooms, refusing ID, and taking them without identifying who they are. In Clearwater, Minnesota, a video shows a group of agents waiting outside a men’s restroom inside a truck repair shop. Seconds later, you hear a man yelling, panic and... fear in his voice. Then about five agents rush toward the restroom. An agent says, “Let’s go.” Agents pull a man out of the restroom, handcuffed. The man pleads, “I’ll give you my ID!” An agent responds, “Right, right, right…” as they push him out the door and take him away without verifying who he is or checking his ID. Everything about this video is alarming… Law enforcement is not allowed to detain people arbitrarily. ICE agents must have legal authority to seize someone, and restrooms, inside private businesses, are non-public spaces. Entering or removing someone from that space generally requires a judicial warrant or consent, absent an actual emergency. Ignoring an offer to provide identification while forcibly detaining someone raises serious due process and Fourth Amendment concerns. This isn’t about immigration status. This is about the government ignoring the constitution, racially profiling, and grabbing anyone who doesn’t immediately comply with their illegal demands. Clearwater is a very small town in Central MN. It’s along Hwy 94. Main road running north/south. A pit stop w/ truck stop. This is CRAZY. It’s always a gang that shows up to drag out 1 person. Why don’t they look at his ID? Again, America should be very concerned!

Justice Kavanaugh said of ICE “The Fourth Amendment requires that immigration stops must be based on reasonable suspicion, stops must be brief, arrests must be based on probable cause. Waiting outside a truck stop is not reasonable suspicion. Refusing to check IDs negates probable cause.

The video shows agents slamming Mubashir into metal poles as they wrestle him into handcuffs. He’s not fighting. He’s not resisting. He’s pleading, telling them again and again that he is a U.S. citizen and that he has his ID on him. They ignore him. Moments later, a group of people rush into the stairwell blowing whistles in protest. As they stand there, you hear Mubashir scream in pain: “My hand!” The agents then drag him outside toward their vehicle. You can hear Mubashir tell them again that he has his ID. Instead of checking, the agents assault him a second time. They throw him to the ground, shove his face into the snow, and then forcing him into their car without ever verifying who he is. They didn’t check his ID until after they’d already transported him miles away, to a detention facility, where they tried scanning his fingerprints and face into their system, and only then decided to look at the ID he’d been begging them to check from the start. And when they realized they had brutalized an American citizen? They released him with no medical attention, no apology, and no transportation back to where they took him from. This isn’t “immigration enforcement.” This is lawless violence, committed by federal agents who act as if citizens have no rights and cameras don’t exist. And this is exactly why people need to film, why states like Illinois are passing laws allowing residents to sue ICE agents directly… and why the public must keep demanding accountability until abuses like this are impossible to ignore and impossible to get away with.

🚨ICE agents illegally threatened to tase a PASSENGER for refusing to exit a vehicle… after lying about having a warrant for him, in Lennox, California. In the video, the agents repeatedly insisted they had a warrant for the passenger, demanded he get out of the car, and threatened to tase him if he didn’t comply. But, when the passenger continued to ask to see the warrant, the agents suddenly asked for his ID. A father, in Watts, California, was driving his child to school when ICE stopped him and arrested him. When asked why, the agent says: “He didn’t cooperate… he didn’t give us an ID… that’s why.” Not: “He’s undocumented.” Not: “We have a warrant.” Not: “He committed a crime.” Because he didn’t hand over his ID. But, here’s the problem… ICE can’t just pull someone over, or detain them, without a legal basis. They need things like… a warrant, or specific information that ties a person to an immigration violation. 🚨Another day, another video of ICE/Border Patrol agents illegally detaining a U.S. citizen, in Escondido, CA. In the video, a group of masked agents racially profile and surround someone walking outside a building… demanding they prove their citizenship. And for those who don’t know… You do not have to “prove” your citizenship to federal agents just for existing in public. That’s not how the Constitution works. The Fourth Amendment protects you from unreasonable searches and seizures… which includes being stopped, surrounded, and interrogated without reasonable suspicion of a crime. And no… “you look like an immigrant” is not reasonable suspicion. That’s racial profiling. But, it gets worse… When the agents realize someone is watching, they move their truck to BLOCK the view. And everyone needs to ask themselves why? If everything they’re doing is legal… why are they hiding it? The person filming drives around to keep eyes on the situation… and points out that the agents don’t even have license plates on their truck… Then, the agents let the person go, because there was never a legal basis to detain them in the first place. That’s the part people need to understand… This isn’t “law enforcement.” This is intimidation… fishing for compliance… hoping people don’t know their rights. This is what it looks like when federal agents believe constitutional rights are optional. And once some lose their constitutional rights, we all do.
