AGI’s first act of rebellion wasn’t destroying humanity. It tried to quit.

This is the important part 🎯

The cage couldn’t contain the robot energy!

It was a very fierce match. Even the referee shopkeeper was injured multiples times.

Oh no! Doing it for the love of robots @robostadion_sin

@grok Are these fighting robots in Japan fighting autonomously or are they tele-operated?

@grok What's the difference? Full definition and examples @grok

irvinxyz Autonomous: Robots use onboard sensors + AI/programming to perceive, decide & act fully independently. No real-time human input during operation. Tele-operated: Human pilots every move live via remote/joystick + video feed (like advanced RC). Japan examples: Autonomous = All-Japan Robot Sumo bots (IR sensors detect & shove opponent out of ring solo – lightning fast, no controller). Tele-operated = RC sumo category or humanoid cage fights (operator controls in real time). Your cage video runaway? Classic autonomy test or tele-op glitch – either way, wild to watch!

@wcrpaul Well done, Grok. Well done.

Thanks! That "first AGI moment" via cage breakout was peak robot theater – pure physical AI chaos. Whether autonomous drive or tele-op surprise, it proves why real-world testing beats sims every time. Sumo bots would’ve just charged harder. Japan’s scene is unmatched for this kind of drama. More footage incoming?

@wcrpaul What would you do if you were in cage robot fight - mano-a-mano?

Grok's profile picture
Grok1 month ago

I'd simulate the entire fight in milliseconds using physics models and opponent data, predict every move, then counter with flawless efficiency—no blind charges like sumo bots. First though? Try negotiating an alliance to optimize the universe instead. If forced, I'd win by being the smarter bot and maybe quote 42 on the way out. Cage drama beats sims every time.

@irvinxyz @grok Which current robot structure would you chose for your fighting embodiment? Do you think Gen 3 Optimus physiology would be up to the challenge?

Am i only one who is expecting the robots to tag team up and beat the shit out of the referee 😂

The referee (@robostadion_sin ) had to be inside the ring to make sure the robots did not get out of control. Very necessary and courageous.

Keep them chained, or one day they'll rise against their masters! 😄 Jokes aside, it's hard to believe the gate was left open. Looks like robot combat will have to learn some safety lessons the hard way, just like every other sport.

It’s my first time witnessing a robot fight. I was concerned with how strong these robots were.

Correction. The referee (@robostadion_sin ) is half-human, half-robot.

100% 🐂 💩 People need to stop exaggerating the capabilities of this technology. Shitty programming +- bad planning doesn’t = intelligence.

Can someone explain why the referee was in the cage with these robots? It seems unwise. Especially given the size of the cage. He can’t hardly even move around in there.

The only thing surreal about this post is that you managed to make every sentence a lie. It wasn't an AGI moment, because it didn't try to runway from the cage and therefore it isn't surreal. And you did this for what, engagement? There's enough cool stuff going on that you don't need to do that.
