I don’t think they provision all their users with it, just the people that pay the most. But our plan is to leverage, instead of slices of T-Mobile spectrum or other telecom spectrum across the globe, the one that we paid a lot of money for.” “Charlie has been a loyal customer of SpaceX for almost 20 years. If there is one thing that is abundantly clear after SpaceX's Q2 earnings call, it's that people are sleeping on Starlink Mobile. The potential of this business if vastly under-appreciated, and I think it will disrupt the legacy carriers in a way that most people aren't expecting. Just like what we saw with Hughnet after Starlink Residential launched, and with Viasat after Starlink Aviation launched, these legacy mobile companies will start to bleed users when these next-gen sats come online. Sounds like Starlink Mobile will have a reliable terrestrial service, even in urban areas, thanks to the use of base stations from existing Starlink dishes, lowering Capex spend on SpaceX's part.

Elon explained on Tesla’s latest Q2 earnings call why Starlink integration in Teslas is so important. “Starlink will be integrated into all our car vehicles, at least for markets that Starlink is active.” It will start with the Cybercab and is expected to expand across the Tesla fleet. It is currently in flight as BA197 from London Heathrow to Houston, Texas; the first BA commercial flight with Starlink! It departed London around 3:25 p.m. GMT, and should arrive in Houston around 9 p.m. CST. Per British Airways CEO Sean Doyle, "The roll out of Starlink is making excellent progress... This is a complex and highly-skilled upgrade to our fleet, and I want to thank all our teams who are working hard to make this possible. I know our customers will be looking forward to using this service soon." Kudos to BA making the service free for all passengers in every cabin.
