RFK Jr. will be confirmed today. He picks up & carries the vestige of the Kennedy legacy of his slain father RFK & uncle JFK. On June 8th, 1968 the funeral train left NYC headed to Washington,DC. The entire way the path was lined with mourners who wanted to pay their respect and it encompassed all ages, working classes & colors of Americans. The funeral procession was more a funeral for what many felt was their last hope for the nation with the loss of RFK & the final nail in the coffin of the American Republic. Now a Kennedy is about to return to The White House & the work begins anew as restoring the Republic.
