With around ₹15,000 crore in fee reimbursement dues still pending, students are unable to obtain their certificates and are being deprived of opportunities for higher education and employment. Nearly three years after Congress came to power, its Six Guarantees remain as unfulfilled promises. The ₹5 lakh “Vidya Bharosa Card” promised to students has disappeared without a trace, while the promise of free electric scooters for college-going women students has also been put on the back burner. After a very long, and quite active Summer, that is all about to change, with a much quieter pattern coming in through this week and next week (perhaps longer). The large upper ridge that has been stuck over the Southern U.S. is likely to retreat back West again, but also broaden out, leading to much more quiescent flow across much of the CONUS. Some isolated severe weather may occur late this week, but probabilities for organized severe weather will remain on the lower-end for the next 7-10 (or more) days.
