What happens if you randomly have an intrusive thought that just says stab my fucking throat with this spoon

I remember hearing a neurosurgeon tell Musk to “stay in his lane” when Neuralink was in early stages. He literally scoffed at the idea and completely dismissed it as absurd. There is nobody else alive who has broken more barriers or disrupted more industries than Musk.

Imagine they create a robotic exoskeleton controlled by Neuralink, then let paralyzed people wear it. 🤯

What happens when his intrusive thoughts start acting up?

"In the future, Neuralink could help people with spinal cord injuries walk again. Even with a broken neck, brain signals could be rerouted around damaged neurons, restoring full body movement and functionality."

My Grandma June died of ALS after a 7yr battle (1990s). By the end, the only thing she could control was eye movement. I remember she had some experimental computer that let her use her eyes to type. This would have been so much better and I'm happy to see the tech advance🥲

This is the wholesome part of the black mirror episode before the tone switch to a dystopian Palantir AI hell 😭

My attention span would turn that robotic arm into a manic maestro — one second it’s spooning mac ’n’ cheese, the next it’s conducting an orchestra of flying napkins. But still, very cool. 😊

Now add this tech to and entire robot suit for paralyzed patients to regain full body control, will also help me with blood and muscle movement and who knows what else can be benefited along that path… just hope hackers can’t get their hands on systems like this too 😊

Next they should try to hook the information from the computer to the patient muscle so they can use their own limbs.

@DataRepublican Restore a sense of balance to a stroke patient. Not strength. Not dexterity. Just balance. The ability to stand without thinking about it.

How wonderful is it to be able to help a person locked up in a disfunctional body. It could be any of us. It is amazing what Neuralink did!
