Hanwha Aerospace said it exported 51 K11 fire direction control vehicles and 216 K9A1 SPHs to Egypt, and the K11 was modified for an anti-ship mission. It appears that the K9 has unimaginable potential as I expected. It would be great if Egypt had K239 long-range rocket artillery and K9A2 or K9A3 long-range SPH. (K9 proved its anti-ship capabilities in Egypt before the contract) South Korea, Turkey, Poland, Norway, Estonia, Finland, India, Australia, Egypt, and Romania are the current K9 family users.

Israel has recently expressed interest in South Korea's hypersonic missile interception system or joint program. It seems they're referring to the GPI missile, among the GPI and HAI missiles in the L-SAM-II hypersonic high-altitude, long-range interception system. I don't dislike Israel, but with the L-SAM already completed and the L-SAM-II well underway, any joint development or data sharing seems quite late. The development of a high-altitude, long-range interceptor missile to be armed with South Korean destroyers will likely be in a similar situation. South Korea is already investing heavily in multi-layered land-based and sea-based air defense solutions. However, there appears to be room for collaboration with Israel, whether in hardware, software, or data sharing. Hmm... I doubt Hanwha Group or LIG Nex1 would necessarily collaborate with Israel to share profits with Korea, especially in the Middle East market. People may not realize this, but Hanwha Systems and LIG Nex1 are competitors. Due to the historical success of M-SAM-II in the Middle East, there's some friction between Hanwha and Nex1 due to the profit and business sector. Both Hanwha and Nex1 have overlapping businesses in advanced digital AESA radars, software, and interceptor missiles, etc.
