You have given no grounds that your attitude has really changed at all." Mohammad Bashir, 31, drove his friend Jihad Al-Shamie on a 10-hour round trip to conduct hostile reconnaissance at the UK's Defence Academy in Shrivenham, Oxfordshire, on 14 August 2025. Weeks after that journey, Al-Shamie, 35, was shot dead by police after carrying out the Heaton Park Synagogue attack, in which two Jewish men were killed. Bashir, from Cheetham Hill, was sentenced at Manchester Crown Court after pleading guilty to one count of preparing an act of terrorism. Personally I think terrorists of this kind should never be released into the public as the threat they pose to innocent troops and civilians alike carries too great a risk of mass murder.

When the sound was turned off, MAGGIE OLIVER revealed how Greater Manchester Police legal team are preventing victims of the Rape Gangs from giving evidence to Andy Burnham Review Team. Greater Manchester Police arrested the man who recorded videos like the one below👇🏽. Greater Manchester Police officers have seized other content which includes "footage of suspected non-consensual nudity and upskirting" . The videos were taken by a 27 year old man from Bradford who recorded 'nightlife' videos in Manchester and Liverpool. He was arrested "on suspicion of stalking and harassment". Is this content safe with Greater Manchester Police? With Greater Manchester Police's reputation for conducting unnecessary strip searches on vulnerable women and withholding/corrupting footage - was this the right police force? Merseyside or West Yorks perhaps? I feel uncomfortable knowing GMP have such sensitive material - will it go missing or end up on creepy police whatssap groups? Police officer charged this evening with rape, kidnap and more after M62 chase A 23-year-old Greater Manchester Police student officer has been charged with serious offences after a weekend incident. Mohammed Hassan has been remanded in custody and suspended by the force. Last year we The Maggie Oliver Foundation were supporting several survivors who had been unlawfully strip searched, unlawfully arrested and treated inhumanely by Greater Manchester Police . We had repeatedly highlighted these cases through the complaints system with Greater Manchester Police and Mayor of Greater Manchester Andy Burnham, but our calls for action fell on deaf ears. We therefore spoke to Sky News who did a great expose of what was going on. Once the media were involved Mayor of Greater Manchester I believe felt he had no choice but to announce another independent review, this time led by Vera Baird DBE KC with whom we worked. We supported 5 victims through the whole process and their evidence was critical in the final report, which heard from 15 victims in the end. Her report said the treatment of these women (and 2 men) was BARBARIC, and she actually made 40 recommendations. Many of the victims made serious complaints to Greater Manchester Police Last week a report was published described in the video below. To the best of my knowledge only ONE of the 15 victims of Baird have had any outcome to their complaint, 18 months after submission! And that response was a whitewash, woefully inadequate for the treatment she received. Not ONE officer has ever been disciplined, sacked or held accountable for their BARBARIC treatment. 14 victims still no closure! So forgive me for being angry and disillusioned that here we have a tick box PR Exercise before the victims themselves have even had any closure. Furthermore their voices form no part in this “report”, a back slapping exercise in my opinion. In fact many improvements mentioned here should be a given anyway- sanitary products for females in custody, female officers, female and child cells etc etc I welcome no more “welfare strip searches” but my take is that these should be extremely rare anyway and in the cases we were involved in they were simply used as a tool in the abuse of power. On a more positive note though I do feel Greater Manchester Police are much more willing to engage/work with us under the new Chief than his predecessor Ian Hopkins or Peter Fahy but I’m disappointed that we have this “report” published before the victims have even had any meaningful closure. To me it feels like putting the “cart before the horse” and the wrong way round altogether, and that is a big step backwards imo.

Greater Manchester Police have issued an appeal for information after a suspected arson attack on the home of an Imam in Bolton last night. Footage shows a masked man throwing a lit object through a front window. The Patel family were safely evacuated by emergency services and no one was injured. Police said they believe the incident was targeted and are investigating. In a statement, Hassan Patel said the attack has caused "significant damage to our house and emotional distress to our family, including our children.”

The Politician That Oversaw The Grooming Gang Cover Up In Oldham Is Now Prime Minister Operation Hexagon was a joint Greater Manchester Police and Oldham Council operation, involving Labour Party politicians, council officers and the mainstream media that went after myself and the others who refused to remain silent to the cover up of the gang rape of children. It was a Gold Command police operation. This is the kind launched in response to terrorist attacks. It was launched instead against the people exposing the grooming gangs. Not investigations, Assurance Reviews, were the cover-up of the cover-up, protecting the very people who made the decisions to look the other way. For three years Andy Burnham sat on the findings of his sham of a review in Oldham whilst his Labour colleagues branded us racists and far-right activists and tried to kill any prospect of a national inquiry. Police officer has this evening been charged with rape, kidnap and more after M62 chase A 23-year-old Greater Manchester Police student officer has been charged with a string of serious offences after an incident over the weekend. Mohammed Hassan has been remanded in custody and suspended by the force. While I was in Manchester last week, I did the same thing I did in London today in between work meetings. The relatively young-in-service officers (who all look so young, or it's me getting older), are a cohort I have huge respect for. Here is a fact. Policing is not for everyone and many that apply to join do not get to the attestation stage. Some that do, drop out thereafter or do not pass. So, those that get through the training and get on our streets deserve encouragement, mentoring, and support - not ridicule. We all used to be new at something once. It was a real honour to meet those new Metropolitan Police officers as I did those from Greater Manchester Police officers, chat with, and thank them for their work. To those of you; young and not so young in service 😀 - thank you for all that you do to keep us safe all year round. Chin up. 💙
