Full scoop 🗞️

Nice. I've actually decided to move away from Notion and use Obsidian with the terminal agents.

Is it something that Obsidian develops? Never used it tbh

@koltregaskes Obsidian is infinitely better than notion. If you're interested in integrating agents in any way you want then Obsidian is the move. Full control, just markdown files, great ecosystem, endless extensibility, your imagination is the only hurdle.

@testingcatalog @koltregaskes Obsidian never stuck with me (unfortunately). So maybe optimized for different things…

@zazaloaf @testingcatalog I tried it a long time ago and felt the same, but trying it now it fits perfectly with the CLIs.

Until @NotionHQ dos something about their absurd pricing for AI related features, they won’t see the adoption levels that they are wiring arms reach of. With so much optionality in the market when it comes to handing over tasks to AI, they are in their own way at this point.

@NotionHQ already does an amazing job with agent integration, but recurring tasks and automations will be huge

Click up already built this @clickup

Should a part of the core app. Price it in and don't play tier games

ClickUp’s new agents are pretty fire as well

@clickup did it first with superAgents and I highly doubt notion will be able to compete

This is going to be insane if they adds it. Notion is by far the best notetaking and organized note app I've ever used

I think this is all going to converge to just have a repo of data. And AIs agents will just build whatever system you want instantly.

Something like Clickup Super Agents 🚀

Very nice! Need to enable workflows next…

Cool

I'm probably in the minority here, but I feel like 'agents' misses the point of how powerful AI can be for a business owner. People think 'replace employees' as a measure of cost saving, so the logical next step is to use AI agents. But it's not just about cost saving, it should be about time saving. An AI agent is still an technically employee, you need to brief them, set them up, follow up with them and get bugged by them. It just creates more noise. The more elegant thing to do is design intent based software where you don't even have to click a button to be presented with the information you need or the action you intended.

Interesting!

So they realized they’re behind ClickUp and frantically trying to catch up…

this isn’t breaking at all. they’ve been talking about it for months

Notion's moving into AI agents is a pretty big shift. Curious how they'll balance features without adding too much bloat

Yeah just use Obsidian + Claude Code

I.CANNOT.WAIT!!!!

using agents on notion is the only way to make that site tolerable. too tedious to set up otherwise

Obsidian + CC does this already, and probably better/more effect than Notion ever will

Got access to this last week. Been playing around with it quite useful!

Triggers on Slack tags and DB changes are where agents usually fall over in real teams, because authorization and blast radius are messy. Curious if Notion lets you scope agents per workspace and table column instead of just per database.

I used to like Notion, but now it's too bloated. There's something about minimalism.

This is the real shift. Triggers beat chat. Scheduled agents, Slack hooks, database events. Work happens without asking. When the workspace runs itself, humans stop being the bottleneck.

Legitimate question. Who actually asked for this?

that’s gonna make my workflow so much smoother

AI agents will execute tasks based on scheduled triggers.

Hey @NotionHQ — will there be an option to integrate our own custom agents?

Any idea on when this releases?

Agents are great. But first you need a way to go from scattered sources to publish-ready. That’s why we built @WeavinAI

What? What?! Thanks for the update!
