BREAKING: Pope Leo on the SSPX consecrations — “I am considering making another appeal and saying ‘don't do this, let's try to live the communion of the Church.’ But it is their choice. We must realize what it means for them and for the Church. Certainly, the division among...

Not my circus, not my monkeys, but worth pointing out that the principle of non-contradiction applies here: If the SSPX holds to what the Church taught BEFORE Vatican II, and Leo says they can't be accepted because of what Vatican II taught, then there is mutual exclusivity between what Catholicism WAS and what Catholicism IS. In other words: he is admitting, out loud, that they are different religions.

@du_fuss He met with the Anglican woman, he met with the Orthodox, he met with Muslims and gave them a prayer room. I can't with this anymore. The church hasn't even demonstrated a single thing about Vatican 2 that was either necessary or an improvement. Why should I follow this?

Will any reporter worth their salt ask him why then Chinese GOVERNMENT is allowed to choose and consecrate their own imposter communist wolves and yet, these holy men cannot consecrate Bishops? What is he difference? The Chinese Communists do not believe ANYTHING the Catholic Church teaches. But they are free to do as they please and be praised for it.

Honestly good on Pope Leo, I hope the SSPX comes back, but enough is enough. He’s right

@du_fuss Can anyone define "accepting Vatican II"? Because it's sort of like "antisemitism" anymore. It's just used to bludgeon people who make you uncomfortable with the truth.

Is Pope Leo aware that Episcopalian are excommunicated. Is he aware that Lutherans are excommunicated? Is he aware that Anglicans are excommunicated? Because he's more chummy with them than he is with real Catholics. Maybe once they're excommunicated he'll be more friendly

From a fellow that marched with Communists and took part in a pagan ritual and blessed the "fruitful" "responsibilities" of a transvestite married woman who is pretending to be an archbishop, what does "accept some fundamental elements of the Church, starting with several points of the Second Vatican Council" even mean?

Here is an idea. Lets behave like men and speak to one and other. Not through the media, PR statements and beautiful videos. Get in a room, be men and work it out, or don’t. Walk in together, talk, walk out of the room together and tell the world what you came up with. Too public and pathetic on all sides

Meanwhile, Catholic priests like James Martin are running around spreading false doctrine and leading Catholics to hell, yet received with open arms by the Popes, including Pope Leo…

And many will move forward with them, as they are correct and, more importantly, the true Catholic Church under Christ’s Commission. We are not the Synodal church @Pontifex Vatican II was the smoke of satan entering the Church. Just admit it and return to the true Catholic Doctrine of Faith. (If they were China, you’d wave your hand and say, as many times as you have before, to the communist bishop consecrations, “ok”.)

Vatican II says that 'the Spirit of Christ has not refrained from using those churches not in communion with Her as means of salvation.' So if the society is excommunicated, that means 'the Spirit of Christ has not refrained from using the SSPX as means of salvation.'

It is not about the tlm. It is always about to fully accept the super-dogma of modernist Rome which is Vatican 2. If you criticize their synodal conciliar woke church setting / agenda / machinery, you are out.

Dear Pope Leo, if you truly want communion, the solution is easy. Just say yes to the Episcopal Consecration. Vat 2 is a different matter. You didn't split hairs with the Orthodox, why are you doing it with the SSPX?
