Hang on a minute, what? If you are using “they refuse to accept certain fundamental elements of the Church” as your discernment criteria, why don’t we start with the long list of openly heretical cardinals (eg Hollerich, McElroy etc) and bishops in German, all of whom explicitly reject Church teachings?

Stop using the phrase “CHURCH HURT.” The phrase “Church Hurt” it implies THE CHURCH wronged you. THE BRIDE OF CHRIST. If I were to ask you to write a list of all the names of the people in the Church that sinned against you - what you’ll find is that ‘THE CHURCH’ didn’t hurt you… a small number of people did. This term “Church Hurt” implies that there is something categorically wrong with God’s design so now it isn’t just an attack on the Church - but on God Himself. Don’t attribute a brother or sister’s sin against you with God’s design for His people. Don’t attribute their sin to the Bride of Christ. DON’T LET WHAT A FEW PEOPLE DID TO YOU, ROB YOU OF WHAT JESUS DIED FOR.

The College of Cardinals held their ninth General Congregation on Saturday morning, as they continue their discernment on the state of the Church and the qualities required for the next Pope. The Director of the Holy See Press Office, Matteo Bruni, told reporters that 177 Cardinals were present, of whom 127 are electors. Cardinals Francis Prevost and Marcello Semeraro were drawn by lot to join Cardinal Reinhard Marx in assisting Cardinal Camerlengo Kevin Farrell in the Particular Congregations.

The church is no longer using discernment. The church is no longer in their Bibles- and it shows. The world’s stage is now seen as a pulpit. As long as someone says “Jesus” or mentions God, they are a Christian. The bar for being a Christian is in the dirt and it’s the perfect primed position for the man of sin to step onto the scene.

You knew exactly what was happening in the Church. You knew all the players attempting to subvert the traditional teachings of the Church. You openly campaigned for the Papacy during the 2005 Conclave because you knew the liberals/progressives were campaigning also. You released Summorum Pontificum SPECIFICALLY because you understood that Tradition was the only way for the Church to survive. You created new Bishops and Cardinals who YOU KNEW were liberals/progressives and hated you, and yet you elevated them. You were supposed to usher in a new era for the Church, and you let it go. You left us to the wolves who are now devouring the sheep and have DESTROYED EVERYTHING you accomplished with the stroke of a pen. The "Hermenuic of Continuity" was an abject failure as it always was going to be. Now, the Synod on Synodality will be the final nail in the coffin that Cardinal Daneels and the rest of the Sankt Gallen Group dreamed of. You quit. You walked out on us. I loved you, Holy Father, and you just walked away to die in obscurity and despair. May God have mercy on your soul.

Whilst you should never walk away from THE Church, sometimes you SHOULD walk away from A church. Just like before entering into a marriage covenant you must analyse the person, you should analyse a church before getting planted. You must find out where the Church stands on core doctrines. ➡️ The Trinity. If they preach oneness, if they deny the trinity, don’t go - this is heresy. ➡️ Christology. What do they believe about the divinity of Christ? If you don’t believe Jesus is God, like “Jehovah’s Witnesses,” if you believe Jesus was created, that’s not my Jesus and you’re not a true Church of Christ. ➡️ The authority of scripture. Bibliology – do they believe the Bible is the inspired word of God? ➡️ Salvation. Do they believe in salvation through faith alone? Or do they believe in sacraments saving you? ➡️ Heaven & Hell. Do they believe heaven and hell is a real place? Do they believe unless you believe in Jesus - you will be cast into hell? If not, don’t go. This is heresy. They must preach the FULL COUNSEL of God’s Word. That means, not preaching about blessing and God’s love every single week without any mention of sin or repentance. A CHURCH THAT COMPROMISES THE TRUTH IS NOT A CHURCH AT ALL. AVOID CHURCHES THAT AVOID CONTROVERISAL TOPICS OR TOPICS CONSIDERED “POLITICAL” LIKE GAY MARRIAGE OR ABORTION. IF YOU SEE A RAINBOW FLAG, RUN. IF THEY DO NOT UPHOLD THE SANCTITY OF HUMAN LIFE, RUN.
