BREAKING: Premier Danielle Smith says that while her government supports Alberta staying in Canada, she will be appealing a court decision that quashed a possible separatist petition/referendum.

Today the Premier officially chose Separation. She is a traitor and must resign.

So she supports staying in Canada but has paid for separatist lawyers, change the number of signatures needed, changed how long they had to collect the signatures, and has done nothing to stop those who caused the data breach. Her words are very different than her actions 🤔

Honestly am very proud of her for this decision. Regardless if you support it or not, there IS a genuine large number of Albertans who deserve a chance and right to be heard and it simply is how Democracy SHOULD work.

Appeal or not, the question needs to be on the ballot. the courts can have their opinion, but in this case, the judge is obviously wrong.
