I finished my third visit to Ukraine in less than a year. I had a good meeting with President Volodymyr Zelenskyy / Володимир Зеленський. We discussed the outcome of yesterday’s meeting of the Coalition of the Willing and took stock of the EU’s support to Ukraine’s military effort in order to ensure a just and lasting peace. Ukraine’s partners have been supporting President Trump's efforts to open peace negotiations and preparing security guarantees to prevent Russian attacks in the future. Yesterday, in Paris, 26 countries plus the EU endorsed the plan designed by our military chiefs to provide strong, concrete security guarantees to Ukraine through air, land, sea and the regeneration of Ukraine's forces. We are ready for the day after. But for that day to come, we must continue to push Putin to the negotiating table. Only more pressure can stop this war. We are ready to do more. We are working with the United States and all like-minded partners on further sanctions, including secondary sanctions. I finished my third visit to Ukraine in less than a year. I had a good meeting with President Volodymyr Zelenskyy / Володимир Зеленський. We discussed the outcome of yesterday’s meeting of the Coalition of the Willing and took stock of the EU’s support to Ukraine’s military effort in order to ensure a just and lasting peace. Ukraine’s partners have been supporting President Trump's efforts to open peace negotiations and preparing security guarantees to prevent Russian attacks in the future. Yesterday, in Paris, 26 countries plus the EU endorsed the plan designed by our military chiefs to provide strong, concrete security guarantees to Ukraine through air, land, sea and the regeneration of Ukraine's forces. We are ready for the day after. But for that day to come, we must continue to push Putin to the negotiating table. Only more pressure can stop this war. We are ready to do more. We are working with the United States and all like-minded partners on further sanctions, including secondary sanctions.
