Wait, Tim Walz and Minnesota AG Keith Ellison THREATENED and MONITORED fraud whistleblowers?! But they said they didn't know anything about the fraud! Well now, a House Oversight Committee report has just exposed that they both KNEW about and IGNORED the fraud as far back as spring 2019. They had the authority to investigate, suspend payments, shut it down, and protect the taxpayer. But instead, according to the report, they chose to protect themselves by guarding the fraud machine. And if that wasn't bad enough, they used mob-like tactics to RETALIATE against whistleblowers exposing the fraud. They hired private investigators to monitor whistleblowers. The investigators took pictures of their cars and homes, monitored their phones and computers, and even asked where the whistleblowers’ kids went to school. And they took the fraud hotlines, which were supposed to be anonymous, and exposed who was calling so they knew who to monitor. If this is proven in a court of law, that should be a crime against the Republic. I hope the whole book gets thrown at Walz, Ellison, and any other official involved. Life in prison. The budget has doubled over the last decade, 2.5 times the rate of inflation. And we know that there is a huge amount of fraud going on in the budget that no one has even scratched the surface of. Newsom has vetoed audits that would get to the bottom of some of that fraud. Why would you ever do that? We need audits. Before you propose new and unprecedented taxes, I think you have an obligation to taxpayers to make sure that their money is being well spent. The first place to look is with all this fraud. We've seen it in Minnesota. We all know the fraud is there. Root that out first before you go back to taxpayers for more and drive job creators out of the state.

James Comer says whistleblowers have exposed welfare fraud in Minnesota, alleging state leaders knew about it and warning taxpayers are fed up with waste and lack of accountability: “We’ve started in Minnesota investigating fraud with respect to welfare benefits because we have had some brave whistleblowers come forward. These are credible whistleblowers who are employed by the state government. They are overwhelmingly Democrat, and they’re bringing lots of documents forward that not only prove there was fraud but also implicate, in my opinion, the fact that both Governor Walz and Attorney General Ellison knew about it. I think this is happening in every state, but especially the blue states, because it doesn’t seem that Democrats care as much about wasteful spending as Republicans do.
