BREAKING: Right wing Twitter users are attacking Colin Kaepernick as "an ungrateful POS." Why? Because he claimed that his white, adoptive parents 'perpetuated racism' and that his upbringing was 'very problematic'. So let me get this straight. A bunch of ignorant white people, who have no clue what happened... show more

Hi Brian, I’m Black. I did a video where I called Kaepernick an ingrate, which he is, because he turned on the very people who did everything for him since day one. All because his mother didn’t like his hairstyle. Perhaps you could educate me on what I don’t know, or how I’m wrong. I mean, I’m not White, so maybe you could break it down for me. Thanks.

No! You are so wrong it’s laughable! (Or very sad) Colin early on in his career routinely praised his adoptive parents. His tattoos at that time were primarily inspirational Bible quotes. He was totally gracious and complimentary regarding his adoption and upbringing!

The two aren't mutually exclusive. You can think that your parents perpetuated racist ideologies but also praise them for other things. Life isn't black and white. It's grey.

Why do you criticize white people as though you were something other and better than white yourself?

BREAKING: Brian Krassenstein is a giant cry baby that simps for the establishment non-stop.

Love the white guy who is an expert on how black people feel, and who is even disagreeing with black people on their views on racism 🤡

Saying that they don't want him to have cornrows isn't racism. That's literally one of his reasonings for such a "problematic" childhood. The ego of this guy yet people cape for Kap.

I like you Brian but this is a ridiculous take.

That's not what racism means. Learn english. Racism is assuming the primary cause is race... when it wasn't. His parents didn't perpetuate racism by adopting and helping a black kid, or they wouldn't have adopted and raised him. Assuming it was racism, is racism.

I think the issue is that he's claiming his mom not liking his hair a certain way was some kind of proof that the ones who CHOSE to adopt, raise, support and love him are insidious racists is the issue. Meanwhile, parents hating their kids' hairstyle has always been a thing.
