The measure would have extended the warrantless foreign surveillance program through July 2. 🔹19 Republicans joined nearly every Democrat in voting against the patch, while 7 Democrats voted in favor. 🔹Many Democrats withheld support over President Donald Trump’s plan to install Bill Pulte, head of the Federal Housing Finance Agency and a close ally with no national security experience, as acting director of national intelligence on June 19.
