Vice President JD Vance on Chuck Schumer’s comments in Punchbowl saying “every day” the shutdown “gets better for” Democrats: “Chuck Schumer said this has been very good for us this morning about the shutdown. One of the things that we talked about before all the media came in and that all of us are going to work on for the rest of the day we've been working on for days, is how to make the shutdown as painless as possible on the American people. So, while Chuck Schumer brags about this being good, I think the President is right. It's not good for him politically as much as he might think that it is. It's causing real consequences for the American people.” “There's a low income food program — the WIC program — that my mom actually used when I was a baby, that program is about to be underfunded, and it's about to get cut off because Chuck Schumer won't open the government. We have troops — the Secretary of War mentioned how well we're doing on recruitment. We're trying to figure out how to pay our troops, because Chuck Schumer is shutting down the U.S. government. There are veterans benefits that are going to suffer.” “There are Americans that are going to suffer because Chuck Schumer refuses to — to do his job. So, while we're all celebrating this incredible success that we've had on the world stage, the — the country could be doing so much better if Chuck Schumer did his job and opened the government. Every single Republican except for Rand Paul has voted to open the government. A few moderate Democrats, to their credit, have voted with us to open the government. We just need five more Democrats to come to their senses and let the people's government serve the American people. I hope that they'll do that.”

Incredible last few minutes of the Rick Rubin / Adam Neumann interview. I got chills listening to this. --- Adam: We'll connected to this week's portion. We all have something that we're slaves to. We all have an addiction to anger, to ego, to power, whatever it is, idol worship that we have. We all have an Egypt. We all need to leave that Egypt, come out of it. When we come out of that Egypt, we all face a Red Sea. When we see that Red Sea, we all need to have the courage to walk into it so far that we drown. Only when we're willing to drown will the Red Sea be split and we'll go to our next level. We then go to our next level. We see the Red Sea split. Suddenly we're like, oh, everything is okay. And we forget. The moment we forget, we step into the desert. We all have to walk through our version of desert. That desert is between us, us, and God. No one else. The only decision we get to have is how long we're going to journey through that desert. Are we going to journey for 14 days like the children of Israel were supposed to? Or are we going to journey for 40 years because we're not learning our lesson? Our choice is not, are we going to get into the desert or not? It's how long will we be in. And once we go out of that desert, we all have our version of the promised land. And if we have the courage to look inside, see our own correction, our own limitation, look at it clearly now and say, I see you, and I'm going to get over it. I'm going to learn. I'm going to grow. I'm going to understand that life is not about falling down. It's about how I'm going to get up. I'm going to fall 1,000 times so I can get up 1,001 times. And in that last time when I get up and I'm actually ready to go to my next level, I'm going to wish for you, for me, and for everybody who are listening — please, may we have the courage to go to our next level because we know that the promised land is waiting right after it. And may we not be afraid when the whole world is saying this or that about us. Who cares? It's about what you think, what your wife thinks, what your kids think, and what the universe thinks. Rick: Amen. Adam: Amen. Thank you. Thank you, Hashem. Thank you.

🚨 JUST IN: Rep. Tim Burchett sounds the alarm that Congress is about to FUND a fraudulent group that gives aid to Africa, acquiescing to Democrats — yet they REFUSE to attach the SAVE Act to the funding package "They SAID 'please don't send us any more dadgum money. We're stealing! It's corrupt!' It NEEDS TO STOP." "And you can't even get the Republican controlled Senate to back him on that. Why? Oh, we're not going to get our stuff funded if we don't." "And the same thing in the House. We're trying to pass the SAVE Act." "Why won't we attach that to something and make them do it? Why? Because we're complacent and we get our funding for our stuff and we don't want to rock the boat. Well, that boat has sailed, folks!" "We need to start, we need to be flagrant boat rockers from here on out. This is what really frustrates me about our leadership, how we play ball. And the Democrats never do." "They just stick together and vote for a bunch of garbage and the liberal media lets them do it and they never call them into question. We got to do better, folks. We got to do better!" "Pay attention to what's going on this week. This week, there's going to be a lot of infighting and a lot of finger pointing and, oh, you're going to shut the government down. We're not going to get our stuff, is what it amounts to." "We're not going to get our stuff. And we're throwing our backs out of whack by trying to pat ourselves on the back, telling y'all how great a job we're doing. Our messaging stinks." "The best friend the Democrats have right now is the Republican messaging. It's unbelievable. It is unbelievable."
